Block Bots
Adds cute lil' robots that can do various tasks
Quick answer
Which Block Bots release should I use?
Block Bots (1.20.1) 1.0.2 targets 1.20.1 with Fabric. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 2 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Block Bots required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does Block Bots (1.20.1) 1.0.2 need?
Block Bots (1.20.1) 1.0.2. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Koala Lib, Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

Block Bots
Block Bots is a mod that adds cute little robots that can be crafted and do various tasks for the player, such as mining, fighting, and gathering items. Bots can be crafted using Titanium (dropped from Faulty Block Bots) and Silicon (obtained from smelting Quartz), and can be set to Follow their owner, Wander in an area, or stay in place.
There are a few different Bots you can craft:
- Block Bot Collector - Collectors will gather items from their area, and deposit them into chests (although the chest must have a chest marker placed on top of it)
- Block Bot Farmer - Farmers will Harvest Crops and replant them if they have the seeds. They will deposit any spoils they obtain into chests
- Block Bot Healer - Healers will apply the regeneration effect to any passive creatures or players within their distance
- Block Bot Fighter - Fighters will dispose of any nearby hostiles, and have more health than any other bots. It is reccommended to keep some near other bots, as zombies are aggressive to block bots
- Block Bot LumberJack - Lumberjacks will chop down nearby trees, and deposite spoils from the trees into nearby chests. Trees of any shape or size work.
- Block Bot Creeper - Creepers will seek nearby hostiles, and detonate themselves in an attempt to kill the targets... These bots are probably not too worth it, but they are fun!
- Block Bot Archer - Archers will shoot arrows at nearby hostiles, at a relatively fast rate.
- Block Bot Miner - Miners can be given a target block by shift-right-clicking them with your block of choice. Once they are holding the block, they will seek out any nearby blocks of that type and mine them. If the blocks are stuck in a wall, they will also break through the walls in an attempt to mine it. Once they run out of nearby blocks (or are shift-right-clicked with an empty hand to clear their target), they will deposite their spoils into nearby chests.
- Block Bot Youthanizer - Youthanizers will seek out nearby Animals, and Youthanize them! This turns the animal into a baby, and drops what the animal would normally drop on death. The Bot will then deposit the spoils into a nearby chest
The process of getting these bots is moderately pricey, though many of them have powerful functions, and are fun to mess with, so I feel that this balences it out! I might work on this more in the future after I finish up another one of my mods, as I've a lot more ideas floating around for what I can do with this.
