About this project

What does Productive Animals add?

Tired of mining for resources? Let the animals do the work.

Productive Animals introduces Ingot/Material Animals — naturally spawning creatures themed after different ingots and materials. Each animal type is NOT so rare unless the ingot or ore is. and unique, encouraging exploration and collection.

Once captured, place them inside the Ore Extractor, a mid-game machine that produces ores automatically. The Extractor requires FE (Forge Energy) to run, and you can generate that using:

  • This mod’s Solar Panel, or

  • Any FE-producing tech mod (Mekanism recommended)

The machine supports upgrade items:

  • Tier 1 speed Upgrade — Required for basic operation

  • Tier 2 speed Upgrade — Increase processing rate

  • Tier 1 Extractor — baseline production,

  • Tier 2 Extractor — Faster baseline production,

Build your own renewable ore farm, automate resource production, and scale into late-game automation.

ATTENTION!!! As of 11/13/25 this mod is current in the works. Using chickens as the mobs to generate ores is 100% working. But using any other mob is not in there yet. But you can 100% use this mod as intended!!
