Overview

This mod transform Minecraft from a Sandbox game into a Japanese style AVG!

You can even make friend with mobs! It just depends on how you write the script.

Of course, we have some default scripts for it, so you can simply enjoy chatting with mobs.

• The mod includes both MobTalker 1 & 2.

Dependency

The mods requires Risugami's ModLoader in order to run the mods.

MobTalker Scripts Chest

Default Scripts:

• English - by komica community
• Japanese - by komica community
• Chinese - by komica community

Other Scripts:

• Brazilian Portuguese - by Kyozum0

Normal Talk Support:

• Creeper, Zombie, Spider, Cave Spider, Skeleton & Enderman.

Dramatic Talk Support:

• Creeper (2 days), Zombie (2 days) & Enderman (2 days).

Normal Talk Support:

Cave Spider, Creeper, Spider, Enderman, Ghast, Skeleton, Slime, Zombie, Iron Golem, Snow Golem & Magma Cube.

Installation

1. Install ModLoader correctly.
2. Download mod_Mobtalker.zip.
3. Choose one script file. (You can only choose one but you can merge them yourself.)
4. Put mod_Mobtalker.zip into /mods/ folder.
5. Install the script file. Simply overwrite the /resource/ folder with the one inside zip file.
6. Check if the /resource/mobTalker_script/ was created.
7. Run the game and enjoy!

Caution:

• This mod needs a lot of memory. So increase your Java memory if you're using a default value.

Config File

After running the mod once, the mobTalker_Config.cfg will be created in /config/

You can open it with a text editor.

mesgSpeed:

The speed of showing dialogue charactors.

0 means immediate. Bigger the value, slower the speed.

ItemMobTalker:

The Item ID of MobTalker.

Important

Mob Talker first started off in Minecraft 1.2.5 under the original author, Flammarilva and Team July. Since going open source at the end of 2012, the continuation project started under a new team and has been going since.

This is not related to MobTalker2, and even if it's CurseForge page states it's All Rights Reserved, the official forum states it's open sourced here.
