About this project
What does Oculus - Au Naturel Edit add?
A fork of oculus for forge 1.20.1, which is itself a fork of iris for fabric.
This version of oculus is built specifically for the Au Naturel 5 modpack, and aims to expose more internals of various mods included in that modpack so that shader developers can take advantage of particular mechanics and internal mechanisms. It is not explicitly designed as a general replacement or branch of oculus, though I try to be at least minimally responsible in terms of basic compatability. However, i do not aim for compatability with any mod that is not operating with the Au Naturel modpack, and as the author of said modpack, i can also arbitrarily make breaking changes or change mods out on a whim/technical decision. Be extremely wary before chosing this version of oculus for general use. Do not complain if it breaks under non-supported circumstances.
In this case, the initial goal was to expose seasonal and calendar information, world temperature, and player temperature variables, from the likes of cold sweat and assuming world dimensions as set in Au Naturel, allowing shaders to be developed with effects targetting these mod specific mechanics.
