About this project
What does Focus Forge add?
Description:
Focus Forge is a lightweight mod that adds a shoulder-camera offset and an entity lock-on system. This project was built to provide a more focused perspective during combat and exploration. It’s not meant to be a massive game-changer, just a cleaner way to look at the world.
The code is open for anyone who wants to take a look or build upon it.
Default Keybinds:
Lock-On: Set to 'R' by default.
Camera GUI (Settings): Set to 'O' by default.
Note: You can always reassign these via Options -> Controls -> Keybinds to suit your preference.
Settings: Accessible via the "O" key or the "Configure" button in the Mod Menu.
"Pro Tip: For the most responsive combat experience, keep your character's lock-on speed at least as fast as the camera's tracking. A slower character rotation can break combat synchronization and cause missed hits."
Important Note: When disengaging the lock-on, the camera will "snap" back to your character's facing direction. This is not a bug; it is a intentional design choice for technical and personal reasons.
