brass before iron

This mod makes mining iron using stone pickaxe imposible. You need brass to do it.

Firstly before making brass you need to found zinc ore. It is very common (but not as much as copper or coal).

To mine it you need stone pickaxe. After that you will get raw zinc.

You can make block of raw zinc but it is useless

You can not make zinc ingot, but You can mix in crafting table 1x raw zinc and 4x raw copper or copper ingots (you can use both copper ingots and raw copper in different ratio) to make 4x copper and zinc blend.

Copper and zinc blend can be turned into block of copper and zinc blend.

By smelting or blasting it you can make brass ingots.

You can also make block of brass and brass nugget!

Brass Ingot is used to make brass armor and brass tools.

Brass Pickaxe allows you to mine iron!

This mod also adds a tool handle, that can be crafted with copper and brass.

Now iron tools and diamond tools requires a tool handle to be crafted instead of regular stick.

This mod allso adds ability to craft a bell with brass.

There are also a special weapon called sickle, that deals 3 to damage but it is really, really quick, because you can literally spam LMB!
