About this project

What does NoHurtFlash add?

Tired of the blinding red hurt flash every time a mob takes damage, especially when using shaders? NoHurtFlash disables the default red overlay and replaces it with a sleek, customizable glow effect — making hurt entities easier to see without ruining the look of your mobs.

✔️ Works with vanilla and modded mobs, including GeckoLib-based entities

🛠 Compatibility

✅ Forge 1.20.1 & NeoForge 1.21.1

✅ Compatible with GeckoLib 4.8.2+ (Forge) & GeckoLib 4.9.2+ (NeoForge)

✅ Tested with Alex’s Mobs and many other common mods

Due to limitations of the vanilla glow effect you may come across instances where entities are visible through blocks! (I tried my best to hide this with a view pass)
