Arcanism
A tech-and-programming magic mod: run magic production lines and code your own Turing-complete spells.
Quick answer
Which Arcanism release should I use?
arcanism-0.2.1-fix1.jar targets 26.1.2 with NeoForge. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is Arcanism required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does arcanism-0.2.1-fix1.jar need?
arcanism-0.2.1-fix1.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install GeckoLib first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does Arcanism add?
Arcanism is a magic mod that blends technology and programming elements. Its core gameplay revolves around a mana system built on the production and consumption of mana.
Currently in early development. Some features may only exist as rough prototypes, and the features described below may only be partially implemented.
Core Highlights
- Factorio-style multiblock machines and production lines;
- A four-aspect mana system that requires balancing each aspect during mana production;
- Physics / first-principles driven, diverse ways to produce and consume mana;
- Noita-style spell programming system;
- Modular wands, customize your own way of casting;
- Realistic production lines and numbers, no "balance" issues.
How Does the Mana System Work?
The four types of mana are grounded in real-world physics, and each type can locally alter its corresponding physical quantity. Try gathering energy in unconstrained, out-of-the-box ways, then collect that mana through arcane materials! Thanks to this, each mana type has many unique production methods, and one mana type can be converted into another (through physics, of course).
Each mana type has its own uses and its own unique machines. And thanks to the overclocking mechanic, you can boost machine speed by up to 5×!
How Does Spell Programming Work?
Spell programming shouldn't be just combining cards by category — it should be a Turing-complete computing machine to truly achieve "a thousand casters, a thousand spells". That's why we designed complete delay, calculation, condition, and loop spells, letting you control every behavior of a spell.
Trouble debugging? The mod's wand has a built-in debugger that shows the currently executing spell in real time, with automatic breakpoints, step over, single-tick run, continue/pause… everything you want! In addition, the wand features a convenient built-in edit/import/export system — whether in the wand or in VSCode, you get an IDE-level editing experience.
Don't Want Tech/Programming?
The tech side and the spell programming side are completely independent. Most materials will have both exploration and crafting acquisition methods. No need to compromise — find your own arcane experience.
