About this project

What does Lead Indicator add?

Lead Indicator

Is a lightweight client-side mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that helps you instantly see whether you are currently holding one or more mobs on a lead. When at least one lead is active, a clean on‑screen lead icon appears. The icon automatically disappears the moment the lead breaks or disconnects.

The HUD icon is fully customizable: you can move it anywhere on your screen, resize it freely, and adjust its scale to fit any UI setup. A dedicated configuration screen lets you drag the icon, change its size, and reset it to default with a single click. The menu can be opened or closed using a configurable keybind.

The mod supports multiple leashed mobs at once and works seamlessly without requiring server installation, making it ideal for survival, modpacks, and client‑side enhancements. Simple, minimal, and unobtrusive, Lead Indicator improves awareness without altering gameplay.
