About this project

What does RecursiveCraft add?

When you request an item, the mod calculates the fastest way to craft the item, if it doesn't find that item, it finds a way to get that original ingredient, if there's no way to get that original ingredient, it reports it as missing

The current live version is optimized for performance first, still, it's capable of calculating the subrecipes of very heavy technical mods very fast

The mod is still in beta, eventhough it's very refined, exercise caution as it's not the final release

Features of this mod:

Crafting logic:

LPA: Log-PickAxe: If you request a wooden pickaxe and you have logs in your inventory, It'll understand that the pickaxe needs both sticks and planks, and It'll understand the multiple steps required to craft it

HGC: Honeyblock Glass-cake: If you request a cake and you have Honeyblocks and glass bottles instead of sugar, the mod understands that it has to sacrifice a honeyblock into glass bottles to get the sugar

HGC

Recursion traps: The mod (mostly) understands that some recipes are recipes of others, Iron blocks <> Iron ingots <>Iron Nuggets, and it blacklists them as it's going through it's procedure

Modded recipes: This mod was not built upon the vanilla recipe book, instead, it knows all the recipes, even modded ones, and it can go through significant depths, the mod was stress tested to craft the IC2 Classic's Advanced Field Expansion Upgrade in miliseconds

GUI Features:

It has a multiplier mode (Shift + scroll) which allows you to craft several items at once (x1, x2, x3, up to x64)

Inventory Only, Chest Only: Imagine that you have precious items in your inventory (backpacks, enchanted swords) By selecting chest only it will not consume your inventory items, and vice-versa

On-the-go crafting:

If you have a crafting bench in your inventory, you can make basic x1 "Inventory only" crafting requests

The 1.12.2 version was capable of crafting in SevTech as long as FastCrafting was disabled

The mod's logic is completely standalone, but it currently uses JEI's GUI in order for you to point out which item you want to craft, might add EMI, NEI (etc) compat in the future

The current supported versions are

1.19.2

1.12.2
