What does Better Villager Trades add?

Better Villager Coin Trades

Formerly known as villager coin so the commands will reflect this.

(is a server sided utility but works for single-player and offline words too)

Set any item as the currency for Villager trading. Defaults to Emeralds (Vanilla behavior). Want villagers to trade Gold Ingots? Diamonds? Cookies? You can do that.

How to change currency

You can change the currency in-game or via config.

In-Game: Run the command: /villagercoin set <item_id> Example: /villagercoin set minecraft:diamond

Config File: Edit config/villager_coin.json and change currencyItem.

Commands

  • /villagercoin set <item> - Sets the currency.
  • /villagercoin reload - Reloads the config (updates villagers instantly).
  • /villagercoin info - Checks current currency.

Installation

Works as a server-sided plugin or a single-player mod.
