About this project
What does PREHISTORICAL add?
THE MOD NEEDS "GECKOLIB"
If you like danger and hardcore gameplay, this mod is for you... The dinosaurs can cause a lot of problems
This mod adds a lot of new creatures into the game and other things like meal, new armor, dinosaur scales and a "triceratops horn". The mod is making your world harder and more dangerous.
- MOBS Tyrannosaurus – The most iconic dinosaur. Spawns in plains. You can craft armor from its scales, which grants Resistance and Night Vision.
Giganotosaurus – The fastest of the large carnivores. Its scale armor provides Saturation and Strength.
Tarbosaurus – A powerful Asian Tyrannosaurid. Can be tamed with "big theropod meat" and can be ridden. If you left-click while riding it, its gonna bite the closest creature.
Spinosaurus – A lethal addition to swamps. It can walk on land and swim. Drops "Spinosaurus Scales" used to craft armor that grants Water Breathing and Dolphin's Grace.
Utahraptor – A large dromaeosaurid that won't retreat until it or its prey is dead. Can be tamed and ridden using "Ceratopsian Meat".
Paralititan – A massive sauropod.
Eoraptor – A small, early dinosaur.
Carnotaurus – A very fast predator found mainly in plains.
Fasolasuchus – A new terror lurking in the deserts.
Triceratops – While not tamable, they are excellent protection; they spawn in groups and often distract carnivores away from you.
Basilosaurus – Spawns on beaches and instinctively head for the nearest water.
Cryolophosaurus – A cold-blooded danger in snowy biomes. You can ride it and CLIMB on walls. When you ride it, if you left-click, its gonna bite the closest creature.
Megaraptor – Found in caves. It lets out a terrifying roar upon spotting its prey.
Ichthyovenator – Can be tamed with salmon. It will follow and protect you.
Megalodon – A rare, giant shark found in warm, lukewarm, and deep oceans.
Hybodus – A prehistoric shark species.
Coelacanthus – Currently has no specific use.
Yutyrannus – A mid-sized carnivore that hunts in packs (up to 8). Found in snowy biomes.
Beetle – A small insect.
Microraptor – A tiny dinosaur. Its only current use is hunting beetles.
Borealopelta – Not tamable, but offers good protection against predators. Attacking it reflects damage (Thorns effect). Note: Carnivores may still prioritize you if they see you first!
Minmi – A small, tamable dinosaur. Gain its trust with bamboo; petting it (Right-Click) grants the Resistance effect.
- Items & Equipment Triceratops Horn – Deals 8 damage (1000 durability).
Utahraptor Claw – Deals 8 damage (500 durability).
Dinosaur Scales (Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus) – Used to craft their respective armor sets.
Food & Meat – Various types of raw and cooked meats (Ceratopsian, Sauropod, Theropod).
Triceratops Sword - which can be made by placing 2 trike horns and 1 stick in the same way as other swords are made, and microraptor feathers around
Note: Coelacanthus meat causes negative status effects.
- Armor Sets Spinosaurus Armor – Helmet: Water Breathing | Chestplate: Dolphin's Grace.
Giganotosaurus Armor – Helmet: Strength | Chestplate: Haste.
Tyrannosaurus Armor – Helmet: Night Vision | Chestplate: Resistance.
