About this project

What does Structure Debug Helper add?

This mod is inspired by mvciek's Structure Debug. I recreated it simply, because I needed a quick way to access all structure templates in one place.

It contains the same feature as mvciek's Fabric version:

  • Dedicated Debug Dimension: A custom dimension (structuredebughelper:structure_debug) where structures are placed in an organized grid pattern.
  • World Preset: Adds a "Structure Debug" world type for easy creation of debug worlds.
  • Teleport Command: Quickly teleport to specific structures within the debug dimension using /tpstructure <template_id>
  • Structure Blocks: Automatically places Structure Blocks in Save mode next to generated structures for easy saving and manipulation.

Extra features, not found in the Fabric version:

  • Barrier Void: acts similar to regular Barrier block but is not saved with the structure piece, similarly to Structure Void. Useful when you are working on a structure piece and wand to hold entities in place.

This mod is and will stay on Forge 1.20.1, because this is the only version I need. mvciek's version is on Fabric 1.21.1 which you can probably run using a connector mod (the code is very minimal for any conflicts).

I published this version simply because I believe someone else might find it useful when designing a modpack.
