About this project

What does Farmer's Delight EMC add?

Farmer’s Delight EMC

Farmer’s Delight EMC is a lightweight compatibility addon that adds EMC values to items from Farmer’s Delight, allowing them to be used with the powerful transmutation mechanics from ProjectE.

Farmer’s Delight adds a large variety of crops, ingredients, meals, and cooking utilities that expand Minecraft’s farming and food systems. However, many of these items do not have EMC values by default, making them unusable with ProjectE’s transmutation tables, condensers, and other EMC-based mechanics.

This addon fixes that by providing carefully assigned EMC values for Farmer’s Delight items so they integrate naturally into the ProjectE ecosystem.

Features

  • Adds EMC values to Farmer’s Delight crops and ingredients
  • Adds EMC to processed foods and cooking components
  • Ensures items can be transmuted and learned in the Transmutation Table
  • Designed to be lightweight and server-friendly
  • Uses data-driven EMC assignments for maximum compatibility

The goal of this addon is to allow Farmer’s Delight items to behave the same way as vanilla items when used alongside ProjectE.

Compatibility

This mod requires:

  • ProjectE
  • Farmer's Delight

It will not load without these mods installed.

Example Items With EMC

Some of the items that receive EMC values include:

  • Tomatoes
  • Cabbages
  • Onions
  • Rice
  • Straw
  • Cooking ingredients
  • Various prepared foods and crafting materials

These values are designed to follow logical crafting costs whenever possible.

Lightweight Design

Farmer’s Delight EMC does not add any new items, blocks, or gameplay mechanics. It simply expands the EMC system so that Farmer’s Delight content can be fully used with ProjectE.

Because of this, the addon:

  • Works on servers and singleplayer
  • Has no performance impact
  • Is safe to add to existing worlds

Intended For Modpacks

This addon is especially useful for modpacks that include both ProjectE and Farmer’s Delight. It ensures that the farming and cooking progression from Farmer’s Delight can integrate properly with the EMC economy provided by ProjectE.

Future Plans

Possible future updates may include:

  • Additional balancing improvements
  • Expanded EMC coverage for more items
  • Compatibility support for related farming mods
