StringDuper

StringDuper transforms string farming into a stable, optimized, and multiplayer-friendly mechanic using deterministic server-side processing, strict structure validation, and smart farm management systems.

Instead of relying on unstable vanilla duplication behavior, the mod provides a cleaner and more scalable farming experience focused on predictable behavior, reduced lag, optimized item spawning, and safer long-term multiplayer performance.

StringDuper preserves the gameplay feel of traditional string dupers while improving stability, scalability, and overall server performance.

Default configuration:

• Maximum active farms across the server: 32
• Maximum active farms per world: 16
• Unlimited per-player farms enabled by default
• Debug mode disabled by default
• Player feedback messages enabled
• Warning messages are rate-limited to reduce spam
• Farms generate output every 20 ticks (1 second)

All default configuration values can be changed inside:

• For Mods: config/StringDuper.json
• For Plugins: plugins/StringDuper/StringDuper.json

( We advise against making changes to the JSON file unless it is necessary )

Limitations

• Farms require players within a 64-block radius to remain active
• Tripwire chains must remain fully attached
• Maximum chain distance is limited
• Invalid or incomplete structures are automatically suppressed
• Overlapping or intersecting farms are blocked
• Farms require proper hook, trapdoor, lever, and water placement
• Excessively dense farm stacking is prevented
• Farms only operate while the structure remains fully valid

Warning

• Overlapping or intersecting farms are intentionally suppressed
• Breaking tripwire structure integrity immediately disables the farm
• Extremely large-scale farm abuse may still impact server performance
• Debug mode should remain disabled during normal production gameplay
