About this project
What does Vitality Hearts add?
Vitality Hearts: Evolution of Survival
Vitality Hearts is a dynamic health progression mod designed to reward exploration, combat, and experience gathering. No longer are you stuck with just 10 hearts; your survival now scales with your journey.
Core Dynamics
XP-Based Vitality: Your hard-earned experience now translates into physical constitution. For every 5 levels of XP you gain, your maximum health increases by 1 heart (2 HP).
Consumable Mob Hearts: Hunt down specific factions to harvest their essence. You can find and consume:
Villager Hearts
Piglin Hearts
Illager Hearts
Permanent Progression: Consuming a Mob Heart grants a permanent +1 Heart to your health bar. Thanks to custom "Player Persistent" logic, these extra health slots stay with you even after death.
Tactical Risk: While the health slots are permanent, any secondary status effects granted by the hearts are temporary and will be lost upon death, encouraging careful play.
Technical Features
Real-time Scaling: Features a custom tick-based system that recalculates your total health instantly whenever you gain XP or consume a heart.
Seamless Integration: Designed for Forge 1.20.1, using optimized Java code to modify player attributes without causing lag or compatibility issues with other attribute-modifying mods.
Visual Clarity: Works with the vanilla heart renderer, stacking hearts naturally as you progress toward becoming an unstoppable force.
How to Play
Level Up: Watch your health grow naturally as you reach levels 5, 10, 15, and beyond.
Hunt & Craft: Defeat Villagers, Piglins, or Illagers to obtain their raw hearts, then prepare them for consumption.
Survive: Build a massive health bar to take on the toughest bosses in the game.
Technical Specs:
Version: Minecraft 1.20.1
Loader: Forge
Developer Tool: Built with MCreator 2023.4 and custom Java logic.
