About this project

What does Antarchy add?

This mod requires Integrated API, Geckolib, Sizeable Foliage, and optionally Infinite Dimensions

What is Antarchy?

Antarchy is a re-imagining of the classic “Orespawn” mod made for modern Minecraft. It includes 3 fleshed-out dimensions, infinite randomly generated dimensions, 45+ mobs, 8 bosses, insane weapons, dungeons, and more. All of this is up to quality in terms of design and looks with modern Minecraft mods. I want this mod to make you feel like a kid discovering mods for the first time. It has some classic Orespawn features like ant dimensions, ultimate armor, and more but, it is really my vision of it rather than a remake, with lots of original content. My goal is to take what Orespawn did, and do it better. I am making the perfect mod for my child-self and hopefully yours as well!

Ants

  • Brown Ants, Termites, and Rainbow ants spawn in the overworld in Ant Nests, and Red Ants spawn in the Nether. They work similarly to vanilla bees and are stored inside the nest blocks.
  • Ants form marches to look for food. They open chests and pick up food items nearby and bring them back to thier nests.
  • Brown ants take you to Elythia, Red ants to Throaxis, Termites to Cavaryn, and the Rainbow Ants to... infinite randomly generated dimensions!
  • Once you feed Rainbow Ants Rainbow Sugar, crafted with Uranium nuggets, you can activate them. Once activated each rainbow ant stores a randomly generated dimension inside of it. Don't loose the ant, you'll loose the dimension forever!
  • You can eat rainbow sugar while in a Rainbow Ant dimension to return home.

Additionally, you can create portals to Thoraxis, Elythia, and Cavaryn by killing an ant inside the correct portal frame. For the Red Ant, you need Nyxite. For the Brown ant, you need mossy ouranwood wood. For termite, you need Myrmite. I know, it's so sad the poor ants have to go to make the portals

Uranium, Titanium, and Ultimate Gear

  • Antarchy adds two new ores you can find that are much rarer than diamond. Each ore only gives one nugget.
  • These are used to craft the Ultimate Armor, Ultimate Tools with toggle-able 3x3 mining, Squidzooka, Gravity Gun, R.P.O. Launcher, and the Shrink and Growth Rays.
  • Uranium and Titanium also have full block sets.
  • Ultiamte Mace and Ultimate Trial chambers coming soon :)

The Brown Ant Dimension, AKA Elythia

  • Elythia is a lush paradise with towering Ouranwood forests and vast rolling meadows
  • Try to tame yourself a flying squirrel and find the Brutalfly in it's massive caccoon
  • It also contains various statues and nostalgic structures you may recognize!
2026-06-17_13.17.31.png

The Red Ant Dimension, AKA Thoraxis

  • Thoraxis isn't quite as nice as Elythia. Even the plants try to kill you! This nightmare of a dimension is built around the mechanic of inverted gravity. Various mobs, gesyers, and blocks will give you the inverted effect, flipping your gravity to upwards. This might be one of the hardest dimensions in all of modded mc, good luck! :)

Cavaryn, aka the Termite Dimension

  • Cavaryn is a horrifying place full of all sorts of creepy crawls. Plus Stink Bug and Rolly Pollys!

Big Bertha

  • Crafted with mobs drops from all over Antarchy, this is the new best weapon in any modpack.
  • It has a mode for each boss used to make it, granting you all of thier abilites!

The Kraken

  • The Kraken Boss can be summoned by killing squids, so be careful where you swing your sword!
  • It is the hardest boss in the game, summoning lightning, flying around, and shooting Octopus Bombs and Missile squids at you.

Planned Features

  • King in Elyhia, Queen in Thoraxis
  • Whatever I feel like adding on any given day!

Q: Will you add _ from original Orespawn?
A: If the blank is girlfriends, criminals, the coins, emerald gear, bees, dried spawn eggs, T-Shirts, or mosquitoes- no. Otherwise maybe! Who knows!

Q: Will you backport to X?
A: Probably not. I will update the mod to later versions as they become popular but it's much easier for me to maintain and improve the mod on one version. Fabric version might be coming though.

Q: Are you affiliated with the original Orespawn mod?
A: Antarchy does not have any affiliation with the original Orespawn mod and uses no assets or code from the original. The mod is very distinct with almost as much original content as content from Orespawn.

Q: What about Chaos Awakens?
A: Chaos Awakens is a cool mod, but this mod aims to add its own original content to supplement ideas inspired by Orespawn along with overhauling and re-imagining things rather than remastering them like Chaos Awakens does. Chaos Awakes also might never get updated to newer versions...

Q: Can I use this mod in a modpack?
A: Yes! Go crazy!

Q: How do I configure/change _?
A; There is a ridiculous amount of config options for you to tune the mod. If it's not in the config it might be something you can change with a datapack. If you want something added to the config let me know and I'll make it configurable!
