About this project

What does ChunkRise add?

Description

The world is no longer endless.

Something has changed. What once stretched infinitely is now confined — a small piece of land, all that remains accessible. Beyond it lies nothing… yet.

But the world isn’t gone.
It’s waiting to be unlocked.

ChunkRise starts your journey with a limited territory around spawn. As players progress, the world slowly expands, opening new areas step by step. Exploration becomes something earned — not given.

How it works

The world grows with the players.

As the server advances, new chunks are unlocked, expanding the playable area. The more you progress, the more the world reveals itself.

Once an area is unlocked, it remains available forever.
And at the final stage, the world becomes fully open.

Special Events

As the territory expands, something may appear…

A special chest can spawn somewhere within the world:

  • Only one can exist at a time
  • It won’t stay forever — you must find it quickly
  • Rewards improve as the world progresses
  • Its appearance is announced to everyone

These moments create urgency, competition, and exploration.

Gameplay

  • The world expands naturally over time
  • Exploration is gradual and meaningful
  • Players are encouraged to work together
  • The experience stays balanced from early game to endgame

Configuration

The mod is designed for server gameplay but works in singleplayer as well.
All progression happens naturally through gameplay — no setup required.

💬 Final line (important):

The world isn’t infinite anymore.
You have to earn it.
