About this project

What does Progressioned add?

Progressioned

This mod aims to make the early game of Minecraft feel more grounded and Harder. Instead of immediately punching trees and jumping straight to iron, you'll need to work your way up through primitive tool tiers before you can progress further.

Features

Toolsets

Flint Tier : The beginning of your journey. Flint tools won't come easy ,you'll need to knap raw flint against stone repeatedly to produce flint shards and flint chips. You'll also need plant fiber, gathered by breaking grass with a flint knife.

  • Toolset : Axe , Pickaxe , Shovel , Knife , Spear

Bone Tier : Bone tools excel at dealing damage while being fragile making them a good early game weapon choice or even mid-game. Sharp bones are crafted by striking a bone against stone, the same knapping process used for flint. Bone tools can also be upgraded to Amethyst bone and Golden bone with their own different benefits

  • Toolset : Sword , Spear , Club

Copper Tier : Copper finally has a real purpose. Iron ore can no longer be mined with a stone pickaxe. You'll need copper tools to reach the iron age. Copper sits firmly between stone and iron, acting as a necessary stepping stone rather than a skippable tier.

  • Toolset : Sword , Pickaxe , Axe , Shovel , Hoe , Spear , Saw

Workstations

The Chopping Block & Saws

The Chopping Block is used to turn logs in posts to turn into planks

  • Posts : A new decorative block slimmer than a normal log that is obtained by hitting a Log on a Chopping Block with an axe
  • Saws : Works like a normal axe and used to directly craft logs into planks

The Porcelain Kiln

The Porcelain Kiln is an early game replacement to the furnace

  • Function : Right click with the items to smelt , holds upto 16 items at a time , right click to extract the output , shift right click to extract the input
  • Requirements : Needs to be above a fire block to smelt items , Coal blocks and Charcoal blocks make fire above them burn for forever

The Workstone & Hammers

The Workstone is used to turn ingots into plates

  • Function : Right Click with any ingot (upto 16 at a time) to put them onto the Workstone then Hit the workstone with a Hammer to turn the ingots into plates
  • Hammers : Works like a normal pickaxe (More features planned for hammers)

The Campfire Base & Fire Sticks

  • The Campfire Base can be turned into an unlit campfire when Right clicked with any coal
  • Holding a Fire Stick in both hands then holding right click on the ground sets the ground on fire

Porcelain Clay Brick Set & Clay Buckets

  • Porcelain Bricks are a new decorative block set similiar to Vanilla Bricks with Slabs , Stairs and Walls
  • Clay Buckets can be obtained by smelting an unfired clay bucket. Clay Buckets crack and dissapear if they're used to transport lava

Licensing

  • Code : Licensed under the MIT License
  • Assets : All Right Reserved (ARR)

📋 Planned Features

  • Throwable Spears
  • Porcelain Smeltry for metals
