About this project
What does Illager Structures add?
Illager Structures
Illager Structures is a Minecraft mod that expands world generation with 30+ hand-crafted structures built around illager factions. From frozen naval bases to ocean pirate galleons, mountain monasteries, and crumbling ruins, each structure adds atmosphere, challenge, and loot to your world.
All structures are grouped into 5 thematic categories, each tied to specific biomes.

Structure Categories
Grounds - Illager Settlements
Illagers have spread across the overworld's most traveled biomes. Their presence ranges from modest lone houses and roadside carts to imposing forts, tall watchtowers, and industrial smelteries. These structures represent the core illager civilization: organized, militarized, and dangerous.
Biomes: Forest, Flower Forest, Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Plains, Dark Forest
| Structure | Description | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Illager Fort | Large fortified compound, heavily guarded | Common |
| Illager Tower (x3) | Three tower variants of varying height | Common |
| Illager Camp | Open military camp with supplies | Common |
| Illager Stable | Stable with mounts and guards (stinks:100) | Common |
| Tipi Camp | Illager encampment with tipi tents | Common |
| Tipi | Single standalone tipi | Common |
| Balloon Tower | Tower with a decorative hot-air balloon | Common |
| Lava Extractor | Industrial structure harvesting lava | Common |
| Smeltery | Forge and smelting facility | Common |
| Lone House | Isolated illager that switched life | Common |

| Well | Larger decorated well | Common |
| Simple Cart | Abandoned supply cart | Common |
| Totem | Ritual totem pole | Common |
| Mohai Illager | Giant stone idol claimed by illagers | Uncommon |
Monks - Mountain Retreats
High in the stony peaks, a secretive order of illager monks has established isolated sanctuaries. These structures are rarer and harder to reach, built with care and purpose. They hold unique loot and a different kind of challenge from the typical illager encounter.
Biomes: Stony Peaks
| Structure | Description | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Monastery | Large monastery | Rare |
| Monk Tower | Tall slender tower for observation and study | Rare |
| Herbalist House | Small dwelling of a monk herbalist | Rare |
Pirates - Naval Forces
Illager pirates control the oceans. Their presence varies from patrolling galleons and floating outposts on the surface to hidden submarines prowling the depths and fortified citadels rising from the seafloor. Ocean travel is no longer safe.
Biomes: Ocean, Deep Ocean, Warm Ocean, Lukewarm Ocean, Cold Ocean
| Structure | Description | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Illager Galleon | Large armed sailing ship | Common |
| Ocean Citadel | Fortified base built at sea level | Common |
| Floating Outpost | Small platform outpost drifting at sea | Common |
| Submarine | Hidden underwater vessel, submerged | Uncommon |
Ice - Frozen Expeditions
In the frozen oceans, illager explorers have pushed far into uncharted territory. Their bases are embedded in icebergs, frozen in shipwrecks, or carved directly into the ice. These structures reward bold players willing to venture into the cold.
Biomes: Frozen Ocean, Deep Frozen Ocean
| Structure | Description | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Iceberg (small) | An Iceberg | Uncommon |
| Iceberg (medium) | Another friendly Iceberg | Uncommon |
| Iceberg Outpost | Guard post carved into the ice | Uncommon |
| Iceberg Shipwreck | Frozen ship embedded in an iceberg | Uncommon |
| Iceberg Shipyard | Construction site for a copper submarine | Uncommon |
| Iceberg Site | Large deep excavation and research site | Rare |
Ruins - Forgotten Places
Not all illager structures are occupied. Across the plains and meadows, old buildings crumble slowly, left behind by illagers who moved on or fell in battle. These ruins are quiet, atmospheric, and still hiding things worth finding.
Biomes: Plains, Sunflower Plains, Meadow
| Structure | Description | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Tower Ruin | Collapsed watchtower, partially standing | Uncommon |
| Ruined Church | Abandoned stone chapel, overgrown | Uncommon |
