How this port differs from the original

This version was made to bring Shots Fired to Minecraft 1.21.1 using NeoForge.

Main differences from the original version:

  • Updated to Minecraft 1.21.1
  • Ported to NeoForge
  • Updated code for newer mod loader APIs
  • Updated compatibility for newer TaC:Z / Timeless and Classics Zero versions
  • Adjusted the casing-drop system to work in the newer environment
  • Added or updated configuration support where needed for the port

The core idea stays the same:
Shoot a TaC:Z weapon, get an empty casing.

About

Shots Fired adds casing drops to TaC:Z weapons.
Shoot a gun, get an empty casing.

This port was made so newer modpacks and servers can use the same immersive casing-drop system together with TaC:Z on Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge
  • TaC:Z / Timeless and Classics Zero

Without TaC:Z, this mod does not really do anything.

What does it do?

Shots Fired detects TaC:Z weapons when they are fired and drops configurable casing items based on the weapon’s GunId.

This makes gunplay feel more immersive and gives modpack creators more freedom for custom ammo, recycling, reloading, Create automation, or economy systems.

Configuration

TaC:Z weapons use NBT data to identify the actual gun.
The normal item ID is usually:
