About this project

What does Connected Inventory add?

What is the concept?

Connected Inventory merges every connected player's backpack into a real-time shared storage space. Whether you pick up a block, organize a chest, or use a tool, every single inventory action is instantly synchronized across all teammates. Designed for hardcore co-op gameplay and custom gamemodes.

KEY FEATURES

  • Synchronization (5 Ticks)
The server inspects and updates inventories every 0.25 seconds (5 ticks) to guarantee a seamless experience without network overload.
  • Anti-Duplication Snapshot System
Thanks to a snapshot reference system, the mod accurately detects which player performed a legitimate action. This prevents duplication bugs and item flickering during drag-and-drop operations.
  • GUI Compatibility
Multiple players can interact with chests, crafting tables, or furnaces at the exact same time without cancelling or locking anyone's actions.
  • Hardcore Death Mechanic
If a player dies, the shared inventory drops at their death location. To prevent item exploits, all other connected players have their inventories cleared instantly.

In-Game Commands

Server operators (Permission level 2) can toggle the mod using the following command:

/inventory_syncronisation <true|false>

  • true: Enables global synchronization and initializes the shared storage from the first connected player's inventory.
  • false: Disables synchronization. The first player keeps the global items, while other players' inventories are cleared.
