About this project

What does Freak Wood add?

Freak Wood

Freak Wood adds a complete material progression to Minecraft, inspired by the ancient Greek alphabet.
Each material has its own ores, items, and tools that blend seamlessly into the Minecraft world—no machines, no technical systems, just classic gameplay.

The mod adds ores to the Overworld, the Nether, and the End, each with matching variants and raw materials.
It also includes extensive material families such as ingots, nuggets, dust, slabs, gears, rods, fuel items, food, tools, and complete armor sets.

Tools include:
Swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, hammers, as well as the Excavator and Paxel, which can mine 3×3 areas.

Features:

  • New ores in the Overworld, Nether, and End
  • Raw ores, raw ore blocks, ore blocks, and decorative blocks
  • Complete material families (ingots, nuggets, dusts, plates, gears, sticks)
  • New fuel and food items
  • Complete tool sets including hammers, excavators, and Paxels (3×3 mining)
  • Complete armor sets
  • Unified design based on the ancient Greek alphabet
  • No machines, no energy systems – pure vanilla expansion
