About this project

What does LostAndFoundLedger add?

Lost & Found Ledger is a quality-of-life item finder for players who are tired of asking, “Where did I put that?”

Open your inventory, use the Lost & Found search menu, type the item you are looking for, and the mod shows where it was last seen. It can point you toward items in your inventory, chests, shulkers, and many standard modded storage screens.

Search results include the storage/location, coordinates, and distance when available. When you choose a result, the active search HUD helps guide you there, and the matching item slots are highlighted when you open the relevant inventory or container.

Features:

  • Search for items you have previously carried and stored somewhere.
  • Tracks items in inventories and opened containers.
  • Supports vanilla storage like chests and shulkers.
  • Designed to work with many modded storage screens that use standard container menus.
  • Shows coordinates and distance for tracked locations.
  • Highlights matching item slots when the storage is opened.
  • Includes a low-key movable active search HUD.
  • Stop the active search when you no longer need it.

This mod is meant to feel like memory, not cheating. It only helps find items the player has interacted with or seen through normal play.

Default keybind:

  • Stop active search: U
