About this project
What does DeckBridge Input add?
DeckBridge Input
DeckBridge Input is a client-side Minecraft mod that adds virtual D6_BUTTON inputs for external control panels such as the FIFINE Control Deck.
The mod allows external deck buttons to act as independent virtual input buttons inside Minecraft. These buttons can be assigned through the standard Minecraft Controls menu and used with vanilla actions or modded keybinds.
Features
Adds virtual D6_BUTTON inputs from D6_BUTTON_1 to D6_BUTTON_999
Works as an independent second-keyboard style input system
Assign buttons directly in Minecraft Controls
Supports vanilla keybinds and mod keybinds
Works with FIFINE Control Deck through the DeckBridge plugin
Includes compatibility with the Controlling keybind screen
Does not emulate regular keyboard keys
Does not require server installation
FIFINE D6 Plugin
To use DeckBridge Input with FIFINE D6 / FIFINE Control Deck, a separate DeckBridge plugin is required.
The FIFINE D6 plugin will be available for download from the project’s GitHub repository. The plugin sends button press and release events from the FIFINE device to Minecraft, allowing each physical button to work as a virtual D6_BUTTON_X input.
How it works
Install the DeckBridge Input mod on the client.
Download and install the DeckBridge FIFINE D6 plugin from the GitHub repository.
Open Minecraft Controls.
Select any vanilla or modded keybind.
Press a FIFINE D6 button to assign it as D6_BUTTON_X.
Use the physical deck button to trigger that action in-game.
Notes
This is a client-side mod. It is intended for local input handling and does not need to be installed on dedicated servers.
Controlling is not required, but DeckBridge Input includes compatibility support for the Controlling keybind screen.
