What is JDT Extras?

JDT Extras adds new upgrades, machines, and automation options to Just Dire Things. If you love JDT and want more control over your machines, this mod is for you.

Upgrade Cards

Install upgrade cards into your machines to boost their performance. Standard machines have 4 slots, extended machines have 8.

  • Capacity Upgrade - Double your energy and fluid storage
  • Overclock Upgrade - Make machines run twice as fast (but use more power)
  • Underclock Upgrade - Slow machines down to save 80% energy
  • Fluid Upgrade - Double fluid storage only
  • Fluid Storage Upgrade - Add a built-in fluid tank to Clicker machines
  • Generator Upgrade - Triple generator output for double fuel cost
  • Range Upgrade - Expand the working area of range-based machines
  • Filter Upgrade - Add 9 extra filter slots per card
  • Creative Upgrade - Free operation, no energy or fluid needed

Time Accelerators

Speed up any machine or process in your base.

  • Basic Time Accelerator - 4x speed, uses Time Fluid only
  • Advanced Time Accelerator - Adjustable 1-128x speed, uses Time Fluid and energy
  • Extended Advanced Time Accelerator - Same as Advanced but with 8 upgrade slots for maximum power

With upgrades, you can reach up to 256x acceleration.

Extended Machines

Upgrade your JDT T2 machines to extended versions with 8 upgrade slots instead of 4. Works with Clicker, Block Breaker, Block Placer, Block Swapper, Dropper, Sensor, Fluid Collector, Fluid Placer, and Time Accelerator.

New Machines

JDT Extras adds several new machine families for advanced automation:

  • Glue Activator - Automate glue processes
  • Gel Generator - Produce gel from inputs
  • Fluid Stabilizer - Convert fluids directly in-world using catalysts
  • Item/Fluid Sender & Receiver - Transport items and fluids remotely

All machines come in Basic, Advanced, and Extended tiers.

Bio Crusher

A mob farming machine that kills mobs and collects drops and experience fluid automatically.

  • Supports Looting upgrades for extra drops
  • Supports Sharpness upgrades for more damage
  • Place it above a mob spawner to stop spawning and farm directly

Crush bosses like the Wither, Ender Dragon, and Elder Guardian to collect rare essences.
