About this project
What does Intermediate add?

"If you're not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you."

This mod aims to add a fairly faithful, athough unique representation of the backrooms which aestetically matches the base game. Once you no-clip into the backrooms, you may not conventionally leave, nor can you leave by perishing. The only way out is foreward. Intermediate has a semi-linear progression system; Many detours can be made on your way out, and it is fairly simple to return to previous levels of the complex. After your first trip, you will not need to go through the entire process of progressing to escape, and you may escape by dying or utilizing the trick you will have learned by then... This mod is best played ambiently. much of the enjoyment you will experience will come from your abrubt entrance into the complex.
Please Note! Pressing 'F4' Will disable world shaders! they can be re-enabled by simply pressing F4 again!
"Does this mod follow Kane's Backrooms or the Wiki?"
It takes insparation from both concepts, and runs with the ideas in ways neither have. I particularly wanted to convey the aestetic of the earliest interpretations of the backrooms. Not too many levels, not too many entities, but enough variation to make things interesting
"Can I use this in my modpack?"
Absolutley! If you plan on publishing the pack, please credit where do, and do not upload this mod to 3rd party sites!
"Is there a wiki? why can't I figure this out?"
Both Great questions! Currently, there is no wiki for Intermediate availible. as for starting your experience, as I mentioned, this mod is best to put on in the backround of a modpack or play without the direct intention of no-clipping. if you really want to be a cheater though, Mesh Errors are easibly noticable in and around the bottom of the overworld.
