Where it goes
Is BeeSpecimens required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does beespecimens-forge-1.20.1-0.3.0.jar need?
beespecimens-forge-1.20.1-0.3.0.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Forestry: Community Edition, Patchouli first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 2 come through another mod in the chain.
2 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does BeeSpecimens add?
Bee Specimens
Bee Specimens is a small add-on mod for Forestry: Community Edition.
This mod adds specimen items for Forestry bees.
Forestry bees store their species information in genetic item data, so different bee species can share the same base item ID. Bee Specimens adds a simple way to convert those bees into ordinary species-specific specimen items.
How It Works
Bee Specimens adds a new block called the Specimen Table.
Place a Forestry bee, paper, and a glass pane into the Specimen Table to create a bee specimen.
The following bee life stages can be used:
- Drone
- Princess
- Queen
The bee and materials are consumed when the specimen is created.
Specimen Items
Each supported Forestry bee species has its own specimen item.
For example:
- Forest Bee Specimen
- Meadows Bee Specimen
- Common Bee Specimen
- Relic Bee Specimen
Specimen items are collection items.
They do not preserve the original bee's genetic traits and cannot be used as bees.
Amber Drone
Bee Specimens also adds a small fishing source for Forestry's Amber Drone.
Amber Drone can rarely be obtained while fishing.
This is intended to provide an additional way to access historic bee progression.
Requirements
Bee Specimens requires:
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Minecraft Forge 47.x
- Forestry: Community Edition
Compatibility
Bee Specimens is designed for Forestry: Community Edition.
The mod supports Forestry CE's standard bee species.
Custom bee species added by other mods or scripts are not automatically supported unless Bee Specimens is extended to include them.
