About this project

What does Binding Vows add?

bindingvows

Binding Vows

Inspired by the Binding Vow system from Jujutsu Kaisen, this mod lets you trade permanent sacrifices for powerful permanent buffs.

Want insane strength? Give up some of your max health.

Want extra reach? Lose your offhand slot.

Every vow comes with a cost.

There are no free upgrades here.

About

Binding Vows adds the Binding Vow Totem, an item that allows players to create binding vows. Each vow grants a unique advantage while permanently restricting some part of your character.

The stronger the reward, the harsher the sacrifice.

Current Content

Most Vows are built in, but some Vows may require another mod to be installed (like Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks) The mod is still in development, and more vows will be added over time.

Planned additions include:

  • More vow types.
  • Stronger late-game vows.
  • New mechanics tied to the Binding Vow Totem.
  • Additional balancing and multiplayer features.
  • Cool VFXs

Notes

  • This mod is inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen but is not intended to recreate the series.
  • Balance is subject to change while the mod is being developed.
  • Feel free to use the mod in modpacks.
