🍾 What is Kaucja?

Kaucja (pronounced "kaw‑tsya", the Polish word for "deposit") brings one of Europe’s most satisfying everyday rituals into Minecraft: the bottle deposit system. Walk into a village, buy a chilled drink from the Kaucja Shop, enjoy it sip by sip, and return the empty bottle to a Deposit Machine to get your deposit back. Collect bags of empties, hunt for discarded bottles in parks and trash cans, and turn pocket change into real purchasing power at the shop.

Every bottle you return is worth money. Every coin you earn can be spent on any item in the game. And if you’re a Create engineer, you can build fully automated recycling plants that manufacture bottles, brew drinks, and sort coins — the choice is yours.

✨ Features

🥤 50+ Unique Drinks

Water, cola, orange soda, energy drinks, smoothies, iced tea, and many more — each with its own flavour, sips, and effects. Drinks restore hunger, saturation, and can give you a temporary boost.

♻️ Real Deposit System

• Glass bottles – $1.00 deposit

• Aluminium cans – $0.50 deposit

• Plastic bottles – $0.50 deposit

The deposit value is clearly shown in the shop. Drink up, keep the empty, and return it later to get your money back.

🏪 Custom Village Structures

In every village you’ll find:

• Kaucja Shop & Deposit Center – a modern building with a shop counter, a worker villager, a security guard, and two deposit machines at the entrance.

• Park – a small fenced garden with benches, trees, a fountain, and trash cans.

• Trash cans scattered along paths — rummage through them and you might find empty bottles!

No more hunting for blocks; the world feels alive.

💰 Earn Money and Spend It

Money is tracked separately from emeralds. You earn cents by returning bottles, and you can spend them at the shop to buy:

• Any vanilla item or block (ores, tools, food, building blocks)

• More drinks

• Exchange emeralds for money and vice versa

🎒 Bottle Bags

Carry your empties efficiently:

• Leather Bag (16 bottles)

• Iron Crate (32 bottles)

• Golden Crate (64 bottles)

Place a whole bag into a deposit machine and get refunded for every bottle inside at once.

📦 Place Empty Bottles as Decorations

Empty bottles can be placed on the ground as small 3D models. Scatter them around your base, use them as decoration, or simply keep your recycling organised.

⚙️ Full Create Mod Integration (optional)

If Create is installed, Kaucja unlocks a whole new dimension of automation:

• Manufacture bottles from glass, aluminium, or plastic using mechanical presses, mixers, and spouts.

• Brew drink fluids in heated basins and fill bottles with spouts.

• Automate recycling with deposit machines that accept items from belts and output physical coins onto conveyors.

Perfect for Create players who love to over‑engineer everything.

🎨 High-Quality Procedural Textures

All textures are generated at runtime — no external image files. Glass bottles look like glass, aluminium cans are shiny with ring-pulls, and plastic bottles have a crinkled, realistic appearance. Deposit machines and shops have glowing touchscreens, and every drink has a unique label.

🧼 Modern, Intuitive GUI

Every interface — the deposit machine, the shop, the bag inventory, and the money HUD — is designed to be clean, dark‑themed, and easy to use. Animations and tooltips provide instant feedback.

📝 How to Play

1. Find a village and locate the Kaucja Shop.

2. Buy a drink (full bottle).

3. Hold right‑click to sip it gradually; effects and hunger restore per sip.

4. Once empty, keep the bottle.

5. Return the empty bottle (or a bag of empties) to a Deposit Machine.

6. Press "Process" and receive your deposit refund.

7. Spend your hard‑earned money on anything in the shop.

🔧 Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1

• Forge (latest recommended)

• (Optional) Create mod for automation features

No other dependencies. Works on both client and server — place the mod in the mods folder on both sides if you’re playing multiplayer.
