About this project
What does Polymorph+ add?
Polymorph+
Polymorph+ resolves recipe conflicts: when two mods add recipes with the same ingredients, you pick the result. On top of the original Polymorph it adds quality of life (shortcuts, favourites, a scrollable selector) and built-in support for storage and backpack mods. It replaces Polymorph, so install one or the other, not both.
Features
What the + adds
- Shortcuts. Shift and scroll over the result slot to switch result, shift click a result to mark it as favourite (star).
- Favourites and priority. Your favourite comes first next time, and modpacks can set a preferred order with a datapack file.
- Scrollable selector when there are more than seven conflicts (mouse wheel or side arrows).
- Built-in support, depending on the Minecraft version: Tom's Simple Storage, Traveler's Backpack, Sophisticated Backpacks and Storage crafting upgrade, Simple Storage Network, Cyclic workbench, Refined Storage grid, Crafting Station, FastWorkbench, FastFurnace and more…
- Addons for Occultism, Extended Crafting, Applied Energistics 2 and Tinkers' Construct.
Crafting table
A button appears above the output slot when ingredients match more than one recipe. Click it, pick the result. The selection persists as long as the input stays the same.
Smelting (furnace, blast furnace, smoker)
Same selector above the output slot. The choice is saved on the block.
Smithing
When a smithing transform input matches more than one recipe, the selector appears next to the result slot.
Crafters
Same selector inside the vanilla Crafter screen. The choice is saved on the block entity so redstone automation respects it across world reloads.
Commands
/polymorph conflicts scans crafting, smelting, blasting, smoking, and smithing recipes and writes a list of detected conflicts to the logs folder.
