About this project

What does Xerca's Tools & Weapons add?

This mod adds a number of items bringing unique utility and combat options. Most of the items have unique enchantments as well.

Grab Hook

Grabbing a player

Grab hook is a versatile tool/weapon used for grabbing and pulling entities, but can also be turned into a grappling hook with the right enchantment.

Use the Gentle Grab enchantment to cause no damage on grabbing:

Use the Grappling enchantment to grab the world and pull yourself:

Other enchantments include Turbo to increase the range and speed of the hook.

Warhammer

Warhammer is a unique melee weapon that is used by charging, like a bow. It has built-in knockback and many enchantment options.

Enchantments like Smite and Bane of Arthropods work as expected.

Use the Quake enchantment to hit the earth for area damage:

Use the Uppercut enchantment to knock the enemies up, in addition to the knockback:

Use the Dashing enchantment to charge forward on release, with the ability to hit enemies during the dash:

You can use the Mace enchantments with the Warhammer as well!

Density adds damage and knockback, but increases the maximum pull time. Density damage bonus affects Quake damage as well.

Breach adds armor-piercing like with the mace.

Wind Burst allows you launch a Wind Charge projectile:

Other enchantments include Wieldy to make the Warhammer quicker to pull, and Maiming to slow down your enemies by breaking their legs.

Scythe

Scythe is useful both as an agricultural tool and a melee weapon, with unique enchantments.

Scythe does not break immature crops, making it easy to harvest farms:

Harvesting with scythe

Scythe can be enchanted with sword enchantments, including Sharpness and Sweeping Edge.

In addition to the cleave damage, Sweeping Edge allows the Scythe to harvest neighboring crops easily:

Sweeping edge harvest

The Devour enchantment drops hearts from enemies on hit, you can grab the hearts to regenerate health:

Devour enchantment

The Guillotine enchantment allows you to harvest heads from enemies. Charge the Scythe with the right click to perform a Guillotine finishing attack. If the enemy is low enough to die from the hit, this attack decapacitates and drops their head.

(The head-drop works with players and some mobs, but not every entity):

Knife

Knife is an unsassuming deadly weapon fit for stealth and dual wielding.

Perform a sneak attack by sneaking behind an enemy and stabbing their back. Use the Stealth enchantment to increase sneak bonus damage.

Sneak attack

You can hold the knife on your off-hand to dual wield with any normal weapon. On the off-hand, right-clicking performs an attack with a short cooldown. The amount of damage is the same as a main-hand attack.

Knife with axe dual wield

Other enchantments include Poison for applying a short poison effect on hit, and regular wepaon enchantments.

Ender Flask & Potion Launcher

Ender Flask is a magical flask that brings a solution to the potion storing problem. Fill the Ender Flask with any kind of potion:

Flask usage

Use the Capacity enhantment to increase the potion capacity up to 64, and the Chug enchantment to drink potions faster.

Potion Launcher is crafted from an Ender Flask and a Crossbow. It is like the Ender Flask, but for throwing splash and lingering potions:

Potion launcher usage

Potion Launcher can use the Capacity enchantment as well, providing a capacity of up to 64.

There is also the Range enchantment that increases the range of the Potion Launcher significantly.

Confetti

Confetti and Confetti Ball are purely cosmetic additions for your parties and festivities! It is a cheap item that bursts colorfully with a sound effect.

Confetti usage

Make Confetti Balls from Confetti and Gunpowder.

They can be launched by hand or by dispensers. Confetti Balls leave a trail of bursting confetti while flying.
