About this project
What does Selling Bin Catalogue add?
Selling Bin Catalogue
Selling Bin Catalogue is a small performance and quality-of-life add-on for the Selling Bin mod.
In modpacks with large Selling Bin price JSON files, item hover tooltips can become very large and may cause inventory cursor lag or stuttering. This mod removes Selling Bin’s large hover price tooltip and replaces it with a dedicated searchable in-game item called The Catalogue.
Craft The Catalogue with a book and a diamond, then right-click it to open a searchable list of Selling Bin prices.
Features
Removes the large Selling Bin hover price tooltip
Adds a new item: The Catalogue
Opens a searchable catalogue UI
Uses Selling Bin’s existing price/trade data
Designed for modpacks with large Selling Bin JSON price files
Helps reduce hover tooltip lag in inventories
Recipe
The Catalogue is crafted with:
1 Book
1 Emerald (can be changed in the config)
Requirements
Minecraft 1.21.1
NeoForge
Selling Bin
Notes
This mod does not replace Selling Bin’s pricing system. Selling Bin still loads and manages its normal price data. This mod only changes how that data is displayed to the player by moving prices out of the hover tooltip and into a searchable catalogue UI.
