About this project
What does ToastsBows add?
Daedalus Bow
Spawns three arrows five blocks above the targeted block or entity, which home in toward your aim target. Inspired by the identically named bow from Terraria.
Beeshoney Bow
When striking a block, summons a bee that persists for 5 seconds; the bee automatically hunts hostile mobs within a 32×32×32 cubic area around you. When striking an entity, halves the damage dealt by this shot, then summons a number of bees equal to the rounded-up value of the original damage value to assist in combat.
Dusk Light Bow
Fires five arrows at once, each dealing 30% of the base damage. If all five arrows hit the same target simultaneously, deals bonus damage equal to 100% of the base damage. Firing special arrows will produce five copies of the special arrow instead.Additionally, shots fired during in-game afternoon have an 80% chance per arrow to trigger one of the following effects upon impact: Levitation, damage multiplier boost, lightning strike ignition, or setting the target ablaze.
Singularity Bow
Spawns a black hole upon hitting an entity or block. The black hole pulls all entities within a 10×10×10 cubic radius toward its center for 5 seconds. When the effect expires, an explosion triggers if three or more entities exist inside a 3×3×3 cubic area.
Chrono Bow
Upon the first hit on an enemy, starts recording all damage the target receives over the next 5 seconds. After the 5-second window ends, it unleashes a burst dealing 120% of the total recorded damage; firing a second arrow can detonate this accumulated damage early.
Snowbow
Supports charging for up to 5 full seconds. On hitting a mob or block, summons a small snowstorm that continuously spawns snowballs arcing toward nearby enemies.
BamBow
Fires at half the fire rate of a standard bow and deals half base damage. Each successful hit stacks one layer of "Deep Wood Penetration" on the target, which amplifies subsequent damage dealt by this bow.
Whistling arrow:A homing arrow that flies along your crosshair path, able to pierce through unlimited mobs while emitting a whistling sound. Blow the whistle again mid-flight to recall the arrow. Inspired by Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Magicquiver:Right-click while holding any tool or weapon in your inventory to store the item inside; right-click empty-handed to retrieve stored items.
Bows will prioritize consuming contents inside the Magic Quiver when firing. Each shot drains 5 durability points from the stored tool and deals damage matching that tool’s attack value; enchantments on the stored tool (e.g., Sharpness) function normally.
Fixed a bug where empty Magic Quivers were incorrectly recognized as valid arrow ammunition and triggered unintended durability consumption.
New Attribute:Arrow Damage
Netherite Crossbow
Deals double the base damage of the vanilla crossbow, and its projectiles can pierce through one additional mob.
Auto-Fire
Enables bows and crossbows to continuously fire and reload automatically when holding right-click.
Diamond Arrow
Deals 130% of a regular arrow’s base damage.
Water-Piercing Arrow
Travels in a perfectly straight trajectory without velocity reduction when submerged in water.
Echo Arrow
Triggers a small-area explosion on impact and cannot be dodged by Endermen.
Melting Arrow
Applies the Amethyst Infection debuff on hit, inflicting 5 true damage every 10 game ticks for 2 seconds. Repeated hits upgrade the debuff tier and refresh its duration.
WHATS MORE:Nearly all mechanics and effects of vanilla and custom bows & arrows can now be fully customized via configuration files.
