About this project

What does MultiCore Helper add?

MultiCore Helper is a Forge 1.16.5 and more Minecraft version CPU utility mod designed for large modpacks and heavy singleplayer worlds.

Features:

  • Creates a real worker thread pool for background processing
  • Applies JVM ForkJoinPool and Netty thread tuning where supported
  • Adds entity pressure diagnostics for crowded worlds
  • Provides manual cleanup for dropped items and XP orbs
  • Adds a small CPU Core item used as the advancement icon
  • Includes a fun join-world advancement: “Fine, I'll do it myself.”

Commands:

  • /multicorecpu status
  • /multicorecpu entities
  • /multicorecpu cleanup

Important:
This mod does not fully parallelize Minecraft's main world tick. Minecraft 1.16.5 and more version world logic is mostly main-thread bound. Instead, this mod safely uses worker threads for background snapshot processing and provides tools to reduce CPU and entity pressure.

It may help improve integrated server tick time, world initialization speed, and entity-heavy performance depending on your CPU, modpack, shader settings, and world load. Results will vary.

Minecraft: 1.16.5
Forge: 36.2.33 recommended

  • 新增進入世界時獲得的彩蛋進度:「Fine, I'll do it myself.」
