About this project

What does Mini Workers add?

Mini Workers

Mini Workers is a Minecraft automation mod about small worker stations, item transport, and compact world automation.

The mod adds tiny workers that can help with farming, tree cutting, mining, ranching, fishing, and item movement. Instead of building one huge machine for everything, Mini Workers focuses on smaller task-based systems: place a station, define the work area, provide the needed resources, and let the worker handle repetitive work over time.

The current version includes transport pipes, item sorting, crop farming, tree automation, vertical quarry mining, ranch automation, and fishing automation.

Current Features

Transport Pipes

Transport Pipes move items from one inventory to another through a pipe network.

They can be used to connect chests and build simple item transport systems for storage, farms, worker outputs, and other automation setups.

Sorting Pipe

The Sorting Pipe allows items to be routed into different storage paths.

It is useful for creating organized storage systems, separating resources, and building compact item sorting setups without needing large redstone machines.

Farmer Worker

The Farmer Worker helps with crop farming.

It can adapt to an existing farm and maintain it over time, or it can create a new farm inside the configured working area. This makes it useful both for upgrading an existing farm and for starting a new automated crop setup from scratch.

The Farmer can also collect useful seeds while clearing vegetation and keep enough selected seeds reserved for planting new fields.

Lumberjack Worker

The Lumberjack Worker cuts down trees and replants them.

If bone meal is available, the Lumberjack can use it to help trees grow faster. The Lumberjack also has 3 available upgrades that improve its work speed.

Miner Worker

The Miner Worker operates a special mining station that digs straight shafts downward.

It is designed to avoid important blocks such as chests, and it can block off lava and water while mining. The Miner also has 3 available upgrades that can make mining faster and allow the quarry shaft to become wider and larger.

Ranch Station and Rancher Worker

The Ranch Station adds animal automation.

The Rancher Worker can help manage cows, pigs, sheep, and chickens by feeding and breeding animals inside a detected fenced area. You can configure adult animal targets, collect dropped eggs, and use the station’s Feed Reserve and Output inventory to manage ranch resources.

The Ranch system also includes Show Area previews and supports modest uneven terrain inside the pen.

Baby animals and protected animals are ignored by excess population management, and the Rancher will wait if the Output inventory cannot accept the result.

Fishing Station and Fisher Worker

The Fishing Station adds automated fishing.

The Fisher Worker can search for nearby accessible water, move to a valid shoreline position, and fish over time using a fishing rod stored inside the station.

Fishing includes cast, wait, bite, and reel behavior, with a custom bobber, fishing line, splash effects, and dedicated Fisher animations.

The Fisher can catch fish, junk, and valid open-water treasure. Fishing rod enchantments are supported, including Lure, Luck of the Sea, and Unbreaking.

Caught items are placed into the Fishing Station Output. If the Output is full, the pending catch is kept safely until space becomes available.
