About this project

What does Where Roads End... add?

Where Roads End is a Minecraft mod inspired by the TV series FROM. Enter a mysterious, isolated custom dimension where a concrete road loops endlessly through a dark spruce forest — and the only way out is deeper in.

I suggest not to read the features for a better experience. The whole point of a horror mod is to explore and gain knowledge inorder to escape.

Features:

The Cursed Dimension — A custom world with a looping concrete road, scattered town buildings (sheriff office, church, clinic, diner, barn, colony house), and a dense forest ring hiding dark secrets.

Faraway Trees — 50 massive hollow trees dot the forest. Step inside one and you'll be teleported to a random location — underground, inside a house, high in the sky, or (very rarely) onto a hidden path to the lighthouse. Hold a bone to guarantee the lighthouse path.

Mocking Entities — By day they hide in a cave beneath the town. By night they emerge and patrol the streets. They're persistent, named, and cannot be permanently killed — only deterred.

Ward Talismans — Place these on building walls to create a protective seal that repels hostile mobs. Talismans work from both sides of the wall and survive server restarts. The forest cave holds 64 pre-placed talismans waiting to be claimed.

The Lighthouse — Reach the path through the1% faraway tree teleport, climb to the top, and step through the escape portal to emerge at an overworld lighthouse sky island.

Immersive Portals — Seamless, loading-screen-free portals connect the road loop, the forest perimeter, and the overworld entrance. Walk through and arrive instantly.
