About this project

What does AquaBetterfy add?

AquaBetterfy is a client-side Fabric mod that ports the immersive underwater environment of Bedrock Edition to Java. Direction-based light scattering, crystal-clear water with custom Bedrock biome tinting, deep-ocean abyssal darkness below Y=35, and a realistic pressure vignette. It also features muffled 3D audio, ambient underwater sounds, splash physics, sprint-swimming bubble trails, and floating plankton particles. All settings can be customized in-game via a clean, zero-dependency config screen integrated with ModMenu.
