About this project
What does Extremo 3 Adapted add?
Minecraft Extremo 3 Adapted Mod
⚠️ Actively in development (v0.1.4) — expect changes and bugs. Please report any you find.
Server-side mod for Fabric (Minecraft 26.2) — required on both the server and every client. It turns a normal survival game into a day-by-day difficulty escalation: every so often, new Sulfuric variants of vanilla mobs show up, each one stronger and with its own special ability, until the season ends in a battle-royale-style Final Round.
Required dependencies
Minecraft 26.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.3+, Fabric API, GeckoLib, and Java 25+ — required on both the server and every client.
Main features
- Growing Sulfuric mob family: zombie, skeleton, creeper, cow, pig, chicken, rabbit, drowned, husk, slime, zombified piglin, warden, phantom, bat, bee, goat, squid, spider, cave spider, polar bear, breeze, blaze, ghast, magma cube, piglin, piglin brute, wither skeleton, hoglin, zoglin and more — each with its own ability (applying effects, exploding, carrying you into the air, flying…), scaled stats and special drops, all revealed gradually as the season's days go by.
- Sulfuric Dragon boss: a flying, fire-immune boss with a boss bar and 6 abilities. An admin can even become the dragon live (
/dragonform) to play the boss. Killing it opens a shared Reward Chest with configurable weighted loot. - Piglin Brute Mutant boss: a melee + ranged boss (explosive crossbow rocket, a Stunning Roar that inverts nearby players' controls). Same
/-style possession so an admin can play it live too. - Daily mission system, some of them mandatory — failing to finish one before the day ends costs you a life. Missions can be edited in-game with a visual editor.
- Real lives (not just hearts): a Danger Level after eliminating another player, with permanently broken hearts and a real cooldown.
- PVP with Vengeance: getting eliminated opens a chase with its own compass and HUD panels for both hunter and hunted. Optional Colosseum zone with always-on PVP.
- Protection Core: a placeable block that protects an area (full height) from breaking/placing blocks and explosions, fueled with Coins — with a permanently clear gap around it so it can never be fully hidden.
- Economy: physical Minecoin coins (stackable to 99, configurable), the Coin Well bank, and custom Trading Machines with templates you can export/import between servers.
- Sealed chests and doors (password locks) and the Miner's Bag.
- Shared waypoints, with a custom icon (emoji or item), visible in the world and/or on the compass, with a configurable view distance.
- Custom ambient music per zone or per player: drop
.oggfiles in the world'smusica/folder and the mod packages them into a real Minecraft resourcepack (official protocol — hash-verified, with the client's own consent prompt), no need to recompile the mod. Mark as many music zones as you want with a wand, each with its own song. Automatic delivery on join is off by default (/music autopack); otherwise grab the generated.zipyourself from that same folder and hand it out however you like. - In-game editors for missions (
/mision editor), loot (/loot editor) and Sulfuric mob stats/drops/abilities (/escalada editor) — no hand-editing JSON. - Custom HUD and UI: hearts, balance, compass, Vengeance panel, kill-feed, an active-mobs gallery with each mob's debut day, custom effects, re-textured vanilla container screens…
- Configurable spawn-protection zone, WorldGuard-style (mark a region + extra buffer distance), plus decorative yellow-fog zones.
- Final Round: end-of-season event — everyone drops to one life, forced PVP, and the world border closes in phases until only one survivor remains.
Config files
All of them live inside each world's save folder, under extremo3/ — they're generated automatically with default values the first time the server starts, no need to create them by hand. Most can be reloaded live with /reloadconfig.
escalada.json— catalog of Sulfuric mob tiers. Editable in-game with/escalada editor.misiones.json— catalog of daily missions. Editable in-game with/mision editor.worldborder.json— closing phases of the Final Round's world border.drops.json— special-chest event settings.bosses.json— boss settings and the Reward Chest's weighted loot. Editable in-game with/loot editor.config.json— general settings (PVP, lives, Protection Core, Vengeance, Danger Level, dimension blocking, music volume, coin stack size, Home Fruit, Sulfuric Carrot timing…).niebla_zonas.json,musica_zonas.json— the yellow-fog zones and the ambient-music zones you've marked.anuncio.json,temporada.json,nexo_estado.json,waypoints.json,bloqueos.json,banco.json,candados.json,maquinas_estado.json,maquinas_custom.json,vidas.json,peligrosidad_jugadores.json,misiones_jugadores.json,cultivo_zanahoria.json— internal world state (progress, current day, placed Cores, waypoints, active blocks, lives, Danger Level, per-player mission progress…); no need to touch these by hand.
Commands
Everything marked (admin) requires Game Master permission (old operator level 2). Everyone else can use the rest.
Mobs and difficulty
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/sulfuric <type> (admin) |
Manually spawns a Sulfuric of the given type right now, already scaled to the current season day's stats — handy for testing one specific mob without waiting for its day to come around. |
/day |
Checks the current season day (no admin needed). |
/day <number> (admin) |
Sets the season day by hand. |
/day force (admin) |
Skips the usual 30–90 min random wait and reveals any pending "New Creature" announcement right away. |
/day skipmob (admin) |
Reveals the next pending "New Creature" one at a time (unlike force, which reveals everything queued for today at once) — whatever's still queued after it starts its own fresh wait. |
/season reset (admin) |
Resets day, Sulfuric escalation and mission progress to zero, clears boss Reward Chest cooldowns, zeroes the kill ranking and the Coin Well balance, restores everyone's lives to their max, and dissolves all Teams (invites/cooldowns included) — like a freshly created world. Doesn't touch admin configuration (spawn zone, PVP, world border, blocks, etc.) or permanent Danger Level penalties. |
/escalada editor (admin) |
Opens the in-game visual editor for the Sulfuric tier catalog (stats, drops, ability text per mob per day) — no hand-editing escalada.json. |
Bosses (Sulfuric Dragon / Piglin Brute Mutant)
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/summon extremo3:sulfur_dragon (admin) |
Vanilla /summon syntax — spawns a wild (non-possessed) Sulfuric Dragon at your position. |
/dragonform <player> [off] (admin) |
Turns that player into the Dragon to pilot it live — they move/attack as the boss while their real body rides along as its avatar; off ends the possession early. |
/piglinform <player> [off] (admin) |
Same possession system, for the Piglin Brute Mutant. |
/mision reto dragon|arana|estado (admin) |
Switches which mission is mandatory on day 1 — the classic "kill spiders" challenge or "defeat the Sulfuric Dragon" (never both at once); estado reports which one is currently active. |
/mision reto piglin|husk|estado4 (admin) |
Same swap for the day-4 mandatory mission (paired with it because the Nether opens on day 4) — between "defeat the Piglin Brute Mutant" and the usual Husk Mutant challenge. |
/mision announcer dragon|piglin (admin) |
Announces that boss's lair to the whole server, with the same banner/sound presentation as /announce. |
/anuncio editor <id> (admin) |
Opens the visual editor for a boss announcement's header/name/body text (tab-completes real announcement ids). |
PVP and lives
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/pvp on / /pvp off (admin) |
Enables/disables server PVP. |
/pvp auto on / /pvp auto off (admin) |
Lets PVP flip itself on and off on its own, waiting a random 30 min–1h30 between toggles, instead of being switched by hand. |
/lives set <player> <amount> (admin) |
Sets a player's life count directly (capped at 5). |
/lives brokenhearts <player> <amount> (admin) |
Sets how many of their max hearts are permanently broken — separate from the life counter: broken hearts come from Red Danger Level and lower the normal HP cap, not the number of lives left. |
/lives finalmode spectator / /lives finalmode ban (admin) |
Decides what happens to a player the instant they hit 0 lives — dropped into spectator mode, or banned outright. |
/danger set <player> white|yellow|orange|red (admin) |
Manually sets a player's Danger Level for testing — also applies the same real 24h cooldown an actual Elimination would give (White has none, it just clears). |
/combatlog on / /combatlog off (admin) |
Enables/disables the combat-log punishment live (also editable without commands in combatlog.json). |
/vengeance restorelife on / off (admin) |
Whether successfully closing your own Vengeance chase gives you a life back. Off by default. |
/campeo on <%> / /campeo off (admin) |
Anti-camping: glows every player, and whoever doesn't bring an opponent down by at least that % of their health starts losing life bit by bit until only one is left — can be switched on at any time, not only during the Final Round. |
/killtop on / off (admin) |
Shows/hides the kill-ranking HUD panel for everyone at once, without resetting anyone's kill count underneath. |
/goldenapple on / off (admin) |
Toggles the Golden Apple event — the vanilla Golden Apple drops Regeneration only (no Absorption, with its own tooltip warning), and unlocks crafting the Sulfuric Golden Apple. |
/coliseo wand (admin) |
Gives you the wand to mark the Colosseum's two corners. |
/coliseo accept|clear|info|on|off (admin) |
Confirms the marked rectangle / clears it / reports what's marked / turns the zone's always-on PVP on or off. |
Final Round
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/worldborder start (admin) |
Forces the Final Round right now, for testing it ahead of the actual last season day. |
/worldborder close <size> <minutes> (admin) |
Manually closes the border by one stretch without touching lives/PVP/Vengeance (for testing the border alone). |
/worldborder cancel (admin) |
Cancels the event in progress without declaring a winner. |
On the last season day everyone auto-drops to 1 life, PVP forces on, Vengeance cancels — only the border closing still needs /worldborder start.
Blocking
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/block mob <type> on|off (admin) |
Allows/forbids that mob type from spawning naturally — doesn't remove ones that already exist or stop /summon/spawn eggs. |
/block item <type> on|off (admin) |
Allows/forbids that item from being crafted or dropping in loot — doesn't take away copies you already have or got via /give/creative. |
/block list / /block gui (admin) |
Lists every current block in chat, or opens the same list as a visual management screen. |
/block end on|off (admin) |
The End stays permanently closed by default (unlike the Nether, which opens on its own at the configured day) — this lets an admin open it manually anyway. |
/block pickup on|off (admin) |
Whether a blocked item can still be picked up off the ground. On by default. |
Ambient music
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/music players <sound> [repeat <n>|loop] <players> (admin) |
Plays any sound id (same as vanilla /playsound, tab-completes your uploaded tracks) to a free-form list of player names — repeat <n>/loop re-queue it right when it actually finishes (read from the real .ogg duration), that many times or forever, until it ends or /music cancel. |
/music all <sound> [repeat <n>|loop] (admin) |
Same, but to every connected player in any dimension at once — no names or radius needed. |
/music volume <0-100> / status (admin) |
Sets (or checks) how loud the server sends its sound packets, as a percentage that multiplies with each player's own in-game "Records" slider — doesn't touch anyone's personal settings, only affects sounds sent from now on. |
/music cancel (admin) |
Cuts whatever's currently playing immediately, so a new track can start without overlapping. |
/music reload (admin) |
Repackages the resourcepack (if the musica/ folder changed) and resends it to everyone connected right now — no reconnect needed; adding a new track never requires restarting the server. |
/music autopack on|off (admin) |
Whether the resourcepack is pushed automatically to every player on join. Off by default — the .zip is still generated in the musica/ folder for the admin to hand out manually either way. |
/musicazona wand|create <id>|play <id> <sound>|delete <id>|list (admin) |
Marks a rectangle with the wand, creates it silently under an id, assigns/changes its looping song anytime without re-marking corners, deletes it, or lists every zone. |
Zone protection
Two independent radii: strict (25 blocks default — no breaking/placing) and total (100 blocks default — breaking/placing allowed, but no Protection Core).
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/spawnprotection wand|accept|clear (admin) |
Marks the rectangle with a wand (two corners), confirms it, or clears it. |
/spawnprotection on|off (admin) |
Enables/disables the whole restriction. |
/spawnprotection info|menu (admin) |
Reports what's currently marked, or opens the same settings as a visual per-band flags screen. |
/spawnprotection distance <blocks> (admin) |
Sets the total buffer, counted outward from the edge of the marked zone. |
/spawnprotection strictdistance <blocks> (admin) |
Sets the inner buffer where breaking/placing stays fully blocked — beyond it and up to distance, only placing a Protection Core is still blocked. |
Drop events
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/drop start [x z [radius]] (admin) |
Starts a special-chest event — with no coordinates, picks a random point around spawn; with x z (and an optional custom radius), drops it exactly there instead of relying on a zone predefined in drops.json. |
/drop stop (admin) |
Stops the event in progress. |
/drop auto on|off (admin) |
Toggles the automatic timer — manual /drop start still works regardless of this setting. |
/loot editor (admin) |
Opens the in-game visual editor for both Drop event loot and every boss's Reward Chest loot. |
Waypoints
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/waypoint create <id> <name> / delete <id> (admin) |
Creates or deletes a shared waypoint. |
/waypoint list |
Lists every waypoint (open to any player). |
/waypoint icon <id> <emoji> / itemicon <id> <item> (admin) |
Sets its icon to an emoji or an item's texture. |
/waypoint privacy <id> public|private (admin) |
Whether other players can see it at all. |
/waypoint visibility <id> world|compass (admin) |
world shows both the floating in-world marker and the compass icon; the compass-only option turns off just the floating marker. |
/waypoint viewdistance <blocks> / alwaysvisible <id> on|off (admin) |
By default the floating marker never fades with distance — viewdistance opts the whole server into a global fade-out limit (0 = no limit again), and alwaysvisible <id> on exempts one specific waypoint from that limit. |
Decoration and missions
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/fog wand|create <id>|delete <id>|list (admin) |
Same wand/two-corners mechanism as the protection zones, but in 3D and supporting several independent named fog volumes instead of one global zone. |
/mision editor (admin) |
Opens the in-game visual editor for every day's missions at once, not just up to today. |
Server and players
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/announce <message> (admin) |
Sends a highlighted server-wide announcement with its own banner/sound. |
/timer start <minutes> [text] / stop / info (admin) |
A purely visual countdown for everyone — it doesn't trigger anything on its own, it just lets players know something's coming so the admin can act when it hits zero. |
/mute <player> / /unmute <player> / /mutelist (admin) |
Mutes/unmutes a player's chat, or lists everyone currently muted. |
/chatmute on|off (admin) |
Mutes the entire server chat at once. |
/reserve slots <n>|add <name>|remove <name>|list (admin) |
Reserves join slots for specific names — e.g. on a 20-slot server, reserving 5 leaves only 15 open to regular joins while those 5 stay free for the reserved names; add/remove take a plain name (not a connected-player selector), so you can reserve a slot for a friend who's never joined yet. |
/shutdown <minutes> / cancel (admin) |
Schedules (or cancels) a server shutdown, giving players warning time to log off safely. |
/reloadconfig (admin) |
Re-runs the exact same startup load sequence used when the server first starts, without restarting the process — safe to run anytime, though any manager with in-memory queued state (e.g. the random wait before the next "New Creature") loses that queued progress, not just the JSON on disk. Named reloadconfig and not /reload on purpose, since vanilla already owns that name for reloading datapacks. |
Changelog
v0.1.4 — Sulfuric Dragon, in-game editors & music zones
- Added the Sulfuric Dragon boss (flying, fire-immune, boss bar; Breath, Roar, Charge, Bite, Tail Whip, Dive) and its Dragon Form (
/dragonform), plus the shared Reward Chest (15-min window, weighted loot inbosses.json). New day-1 mission, switchable with/mision reto. - Added the Piglin Brute Mutant boss (melee combo + explosive crossbow rocket + Stunning Roar) and its own possession form, mirroring the Dragon's systems (Reward Chest, combat-log/Vengeance exemption, nametag over the avatar, no mob aggro).
- Added three visual in-game editors:
/loot editor,/mision editor,/escalada editor— no more hand-editing JSON. - Added music zones (
/musicazona): mark rectangles with a wand, each with its own looping song heard only inside it. Plus/music alland/music volume. - Added the Sulfuric Phantom (day 6, Aerial Abduction). Squid and Goat now really attack; 6 mobs got their own ability instead of generic Corrosion; 13 mobs got their own texture.
- New items: Sulfuric Carrot (+ placeable crop), Frozen Sulfuric Bone, Frozen Bone Broth, Sulfuric Golden Apple (
/goldenappleevent), Sulfuric Armor, plantable Sulfuric Cactus. - The Protection Core now protects the full vertical column, not just a radius.
- Added an anti-copy check (tampered/renamed jars get a watermark) and a title-screen credit line.
- Dozens of smaller fixes: shield no longer blocks Sulfuric on-hit effects, coins stacking to 99 on dedicated servers, proper death messages for Corrosion/Bleeding, custom loot respecting blocked items, Sulfuric Bat hitbox, and performance fixes for ~90-player servers.

/day |
/day <número> (admin) |
Fija el día a mano. |
/day force (admin) |
/day skipmob (admin) |
/dragonform <jugador> [off] (admin) |
/piglinform <jugador> [off] (admin) |
/mision reto dragon|arana|estado (admin) |
/mision reto piglin|husk|estado4 (admin) |
/mision announcer dragon|piglin (admin) |
PVP y vidas
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/pvp on / /pvp off (admin) |
/pvp auto on / off (admin) |
/lives set <jugador> <cantidad> (admin) |
/lives brokenhearts <jugador> <cantidad> (admin) |
/lives finalmode spectator|ban (admin) |
/danger set <jugador> white|yellow|orange|red (admin) |
/combatlog on|off (admin) |
/vengeance restorelife on|off (admin) |
/campeo on <%> / off (admin) |
/killtop on|off (admin) |
/goldenapple on|off (admin) |
/coliseo wand|accept|clear|info|on|off (admin) |
Bloqueos
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/block mob <tipo> on|off (admin) |
/block item <tipo> on|off (admin) |
/block list / /block gui (admin) |
/block end on|off (admin) |
/block pickup on|off (admin) |
Música ambiental
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/music players <sonido> [repeat <n>|loop] <jugadores> (admin) |
/music all <sonido> [repeat <n>|loop] (admin) |
/music volume <0-100> / status (admin) |
/music autopack on|off (admin) |
/musicazona wand|create <id>|play <id> <sonido>|delete <id>|list (admin) |
|---|---|
/spawnprotection wand|accept|clear (admin) |
/spawnprotection on|off (admin) |
Activa/desactiva toda la restricción. |
/spawnprotection info|menu (admin) |
/spawnprotection distance <bloques> (admin) |
/spawnprotection strictdistance <bloques> (admin) |
Eventos de drops
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/drop start [x z [radio]] (admin) |
/drop stop (admin) |
Detiene el evento en marcha. |
/drop auto on|off (admin) |
Activa/desactiva el temporizador automático — el /drop start manual sigue funcionando igual, esté activado o no. |
/loot editor (admin) |
Waypoints
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/waypoint create <id> <nombre> / delete <id> (admin) |
Crea o borra un waypoint compartido. |
/waypoint list |
Los lista todos (cualquier jugador). |
/waypoint icon <id> <emoji> / itemicon <id> <ítem> (admin) |
/waypoint privacy <id> public|private (admin) |
Si otros jugadores pueden verlo o no. |
/waypoint visibility <id> world|compass (admin) |
/waypoint viewdistance <bloques> / alwaysvisible <id> on|off (admin) |
Decoración y misiones
| Comando | Qué hace |
|---|---|
/fog wand|create <id>|delete <id>|list (admin) |
/timer start <minutos> [texto] / stop / info (admin) |
/mute <jugador> / /unmute <jugador> / /mutelist (admin) |
/chatmute on|off (admin) |
/reserve slots <n>|add <nombre>|remove <nombre>|list (admin) |
/shutdown <minutos> / cancel (admin) |
