About this project

What does SacredPlus (InfectionPlus 2) add?

Sacred Plus

A custom mod built for a competitive multiplayer server. It blends Afro Samurai's headband rivalry, legendary weapons with deep mechanics, and a full server-wide progression economy.

The Seven Sacred Weapons

- Concentrated Zombie Items

A new effect called Concentrated Zombie which gives several brief debuffs can be brewed using the Cursed Flesh item. Varying potions and arrows can therefore be crafted.

- Cursed Chime

The Cursed Chime is a summoning item with two modes of use. Right-clicking spawns 2 tamed "Demon Dog" wolves for 5 XP levels with a 3 minute 30 second cooldown. Shift right-clicking initiates a double-click mechanic to summon "Mahoraga" — a boss with powerful buffs that auto-targets its summoner before turning on anything that moves — costing 30 XP levels with a 1 hour cooldown. Mahoraga automatically returns to the depths after 15 minutes, while Demon Dogs despawn after 3 minutes 30 seconds. Both summons are owned by the player who used the item.

- Neptune's Wrath (Trident, Domain, & Tempest)

Trident

  • Grants passive buffs (while in inventory): Grants Dolphin's Grace and Conduit Power in water, Speed I in rain, and Strength II during thunderstorms.
  • Teleport (shift + right-click): Teleports the player (and the nearest player within 30 blocks) to the nearest registered Neptune's Domain block. Costs 25 XP levels and has a 30-minute cooldown. Grants Resistance V for 2 seconds on arrival.
  • Combat: Deals 17 damage when the attacker is in water, otherwise 8.5 damage.
  • Domain registration: Shift + right-clicking a Domain block with the trident saves its coordinates.

Domain

A placeable block that serves as a teleport waypoint:

  • When placed, it registers its coordinates (persisted across restarts).
  • When broken, it unregisters itself.
  • Used as the destination for Neptune's Wrath's teleport ability. Multiple domains can be registered; the trident teleports to the nearest one.

Tempest

A usable item that summons a thunderstorm:

  • Right-click to set the weather to a thunderstorm for 5 minutes.
  • Costs 10 XP levels and has a 15-minute cooldown.
  • Plays thunder and trident sound effects on use.

- Rat Staff

Spawns three buffed "Rat" silverfish for 3 XP levels; the rats refuse to attack anyone holding a Rat Staff.

- Tempus Pluvia

An item which freezes every entity within 30 blocks for 7 seconds (15-minute cooldown), ignoring players with Speed II+.

- Thornvayne

A combo sword whose damage scales quadratically ((0.65x^2 +1)) as you chain hits within a 2-second window, granting bonus effects at higher combo counts.

- WorldSlayer

A biome-reactive axe that grants Fire Resistance permanently, Strength in "positive" biomes (Nether, deserts, jungles), inflicts Slowness & Weakness in "negative" biomes (frozen peaks, deep dark, the End), and regenerates you elsewhere. The axe also counts its critical hits and grants 2 absorption hearts after landing 4.

Sacred Shards and Ingredients

These Sacred Pieces cannot be crafted or obtained in Survival. They have to be /given.

  • Exponential Gem = Thornvayne
  • Doom Shard = WorldSlayer
  • Stan Relic = Tempus Pluvia
  • Moldy Cheese = Rat Staff
  • Sea's Pearl = Neptune's Wrath & Neptune's Domain
  • Dark Rock = Cursed Chime
  • Cursed Flesh = Brewing Ingredient for Concentrated Zombie Effect
  • The Challenger = The Number Two Headband
  • The Chosen One = The Number One Headband

The Divine Headbands

The two Divine Headbands from the "Afro Samurai" anime — the Number One and the Number Two — both craftable, unbreakable helmet armor pieces that shimmer.
The Number One Headband is the crown of the best fighter. As kills accumulate, the headband grows stronger — rewarding its wearer, though its rewards are tied to the headband itself, not the player — so if it changes hands, the power passes to the new wearer. No regular player can hurt the Number One.
The Number Two Headband holds a singular, defining privilege: only its wearer is capable of harming the wearer of the Number One. It is the challenger's badge — the means by which a reigning champion can be dethroned.
The system is built around a rivalry loop: The Number One's wearer grows increasingly powerful with each kill, but Number Two exists specifically to keep them mortal. Ownership is tracked persistently, and bonuses are restored on login as long as the headband is equipped.

The Player Hunter Compass

This is a one-use, craftable (but expensive) item which either gives the exact coordinates of the nearest player (but not their identity) in your dimension or tells you there's no players in your dimension.

Points & Progression System

Every player starts with 500 points and 150 player worth, which are persisted per-UUID via PlayerStatsSavedData. Players earn points and player worth by completing Minecraft advancements, which are tiered from E (50 pts) up to S+ (650–1100 pts) — higher-tier advancements like "How Did We Get Here?" reward significantly more than basic ones like "Stone Age." E-tier advancements are treated as minor and only notify the earning player, while all other tiers broadcast the achievement server-wide. The system also tracks kill/death stats (player kills, deaths to players/self/environment), kill streaks, death streaks, and survival streaks with a longest-survival record. A sidebar leaderboard (LeaderboardManager) displays the top 15 players ranked by points using competition ranking (1224 style), also showing each player's worth in parentheses. All stats are saved to NBT and survive server restarts.

Player Commands

/sacredplus playerworth list: Lists every player on the server, ordered by Player Worth in descending order. Perfect for seeing who would be the most valuable kill.

/sacredplus stats (username): Pastes the stats of the selected user in your chat.

/sacredplus locatenumbertwo: Searches the entire world, whether it's worn, in inventories, item frames, dropped items, or containers, to reveal the Number Two Headband's location (1-hour cooldown).
