World Alive is a particle based, client side mod that adds Birds, Butterflies, Insects and more.

This mod is based on the source code of 'Cosy critters and creepy crawlies' mod by PigCart
Birds
Birds can flock together, perch and call out. Each bird is biome specific, for example you will only see: toucans in jungles, and robins in forests etc.
List of birds includes:
- Crow (from previous mod)
- Seagull
- Robin
- Flamingo
- Magpie
- Barn Owl
- Red Cardinal
- Parakeet
- Toucan
Crawlers and bugs
Butterflies
Butterflies will spawn in most biomes and are also biome specific like birds.
List of butterflies includes: - Blue morpho - Monarch - Painted Lady - Flaming Cresent (spawns in the crimson forest) - Warping Cresent (spawns in the warped forest) Geckos
There are 2 variants of geckos: Green geckos and Mediterranian house geckos.
Green geckos spawn on trees in the jungle, the other one spawns on sand in deserts Cicadas
Cicadas spawn on trees in hot biomes, and plains. They play their sound.
