Welcome to Utility Armors and Tools: Ocean Expansion! This mod is a standalone addition to our modular gear series, focusing entirely on conquering the depths of Minecraft's vast oceans.
This expansion turns standard decorative and environmental marine blocks into powerful tactical armor sets and specialized weapons. This mod adds ZERO custom blocks or items to the game world – everything is crafted strictly using existing vanilla ocean resources, keeping your survival perfectly balanced!
🌟 Key Features & Custom Potion Effects
Every single armor set and weapon in this mod has been uniquely programmed to grant completely different, powerful potion effects and tactical combat passives tailored to specific underwater situations:
- 🌿 Dried Kelp Set (Leather-tier armor protection): The ultimate cheap early-game setup. Crafted from Dried Kelp Blocks. Provides permanent Water Breathing to help you gather clay and build your first underwater base safely.
- 🧽 Sponge Set (Weak on land, diamond-tier protection in water): A unique reactive armor crafted from Sponges. Provides Resistance the exact second you step into the water, absorbing a large portion of all incoming damage, but heavily weights you down with Slowness.
- 🪸 Dead Coral Set (Standard Iron-tier armor protection): Sharp reef protection. Grants permanent Strength but only while submerged in water, turning you into a powerful ocean gladiator. The Dead Coral Sword triggers a custom condition that inflicts extra bonus damage against all water creatures (Guardians, Drowned, etc.).
- 🧱 Dark Prismarine Set (Slightly better than Iron-tier armor protection): Deep-sea royalty. Grants permanent Conduit Power, offering infinite oxygen, perfect underwater vision, and enhanced mining speeds. The Dark Prismarine Sword inflicts heavy Slowness on your targets, preventing them from swimming away.
- 🐚 Nautilus Shell Set (High-tier Diamond equivalent protection): High-tier armor crafted from rare Nautilus Shells. Grants Dolphin's Grace whenever you dive, allowing you to swim through the deep oceans like a high-speed torpedo.
- 💎 Prismarine Crystal Set (Endgame protection, stronger than Diamond): Endgame masterwork crystal set. Grants a continuous neon Glowing outline and unleashes the Guardian's Curse upon your foes, inflicting heavy Mining Fatigue on anything you strike with your crystal sword!
