About this project
What does Acidglow's Fluid Tanks add?
Acidglow's Fluid Tanks
Simple, expandable fluid storage for Minecraft.
Acidglow's Fluid Tanks adds a clean and practical way to store fluids, whether you need a small tank for a few buckets or a large connected storage system for your base.
Choose between six tank tiers, connect multiple tanks together, and use them with both vanilla fluids and compatible fluids from other mods.
✨ Features
- 6 tank tiers — Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, and Netherite
- Modded fluid support — Stores compatible fluids from other mods
- Pipe compatible — Connect fluid pipes from other mods for automation
- Expandable storage — Connect multiple tanks and use them as one larger system
- Persistent contents — Tanks keep their stored fluid when broken and placed again
- Visible fluids — See the stored fluid directly inside the tank
- Useful tooltips — Quickly check the stored fluid and current amount
- Dynamic lighting — Tanks filled with lava light up their surroundings
- Safe bucket handling — Full tanks reject additional buckets instead of placing fluid outside
- Configurable capacities — Adjust tank capacities to fit your modpack or playstyle
- Built-in Wrench — Easily connect or separate tanks
- Connection protection — Tanks containing different fluids cannot accidentally be connected
🪣 Tank Capacities
| Tank | Capacity |
|---|---|
| Copper Tank | 8 Buckets |
| Iron Tank | 16 Buckets |
| Gold Tank | 32 Buckets |
| Diamond Tank | 64 Buckets |
| Emerald Tank | 128 Buckets |
| Netherite Tank | 256 Buckets |
Note: Tank capacities can be changed in the mod configuration.
🔗 Connecting Tanks
Need more storage? You don't have to replace your existing tanks.
Using the included Wrench, multiple tanks can be connected together to create a larger fluid storage system.
Select one tank with the Wrench, then select an adjacent tank:
- 🟢 Green highlight — The tanks can be connected
- 🔴 Red highlight — The connection is not possible
Tanks containing different fluids are protected from being connected accidentally.
This makes it easy to build anything from a compact fluid buffer to a large storage system while keeping everything simple and modular.
💧 Fluid Compatibility
Tanks support standard Minecraft fluids such as Water and Lava, as well as compatible fluids added by other mods.
They can be filled or emptied manually using buckets, or integrated into automated setups using compatible fluid pipes from other mods.
⚙️ Designed for Simple Automation
Acidglow's Fluid Tanks is designed to stay straightforward:
Place it. Fill it. Connect it. Automate it.
No unnecessarily complicated interfaces — just practical fluid storage that can grow alongside your base.
