About this project
What does Immersive Aircraft Addons add?
I’m currently developing a zombie apocalypse modpack and wanted aircraft from Immersive Aircraft to appear naturally throughout the world, similar to DayZ, where you explore the map and discover abandoned vehicles.
I had some difficulties achieving this using biome-based spawning, so I created this mod to make aircraft spawn in specific structures instead. This allows you to find helicopters at hospitals, smaller aircraft in appropriate locations, and large airplanes at airports.
That’s why I created this mod.
✈️ About the Mod
This mod allows aircraft from Immersive Aircraft to spawn inside specific structures throughout the world.
It provides two different configuration modes, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your modpack.
🌍 Global Configuration
The Global configuration is designed to easily manage multiple aircraft at once.
With this mode, you can configure:
- The overall spawn chance.
- A list of aircraft, each with its own spawn weight.
- A list of structures where those aircraft are allowed to spawn.
Whenever one of the selected structures is generated, the mod randomly selects one of the configured aircraft based on their assigned weights.
🎯 Specific Configuration
The Specific configuration gives you complete control over individual aircraft spawns.
With this mode, you configure:
- The spawn chance.
- One specific aircraft.
- One specific structure.
This means that the selected aircraft will only spawn in the chosen structure.
This mode is perfect when you want a particular aircraft to appear exclusively in a specific location, such as a large airplane at an airport or a helicopter at a hospital.
🔧 Dependency
This mod requires Immersive Aircraft to function.
It is also compatible with Immersive Aircraft add-ons, allowing aircraft added by other mods to be used as well.
