About this project
What does Raw's Mob Spawn Control add?
The goal of this mod is to be able to create a dynamic difficulty, based on the distance from world spawn.
Dynamic mobcap
You can globaly change the minecrafts default 70 mobcap to whatever. Its possible to change it per dimension. By default this mod sets it to static 250. Go to config\raws_mob_spawn_control\general.toml to change it to -1 to enable the per dimension settings. Then set it to -1 in the dimension in order to use the dynamic system.
Dynamic monster stats
Based on the distance you can make monsters have more or less hp, attack damage and movement speed. In the same way you can also change the rewards loot drop and experience drop.
All these dynamic values can be tweaked seperately by setting a start distance and an end distance. Then the result value smoothly transitions between(and configurably beyond) these values.
If i ever find a solid way to dynamically change the mobcap, i would add it right away as a feature.
Installation
Only needs to be installed on a server.
