About this project

What does Taxes and Tributes add?

So you mean to tell me I provide these lowly villagers with protection, food, housing, jobs, and love all within MY kingdom and they still have the audacity to charge me twenty emeralds for a rotten potato? Absurd!

from now on they pay TAXES AND TRIBUTES!

A community requires 10 adult villagers, 10 beds, and 5 employed villagers within 150 blocks. Every villager within that 150 block radius belong to only one chest or a double.

Villager Donations

Farmers: emeralds and bread
Armorers: emeralds and raw iron
Weaponsmiths: emeralds and flint
Toolsmiths: emeralds and coal
Fletchers: emeralds and feathers
Butchers: emeralds and one animal spawn egg weekly (that they saved..?)
Shepherds: emeralds and random flowers
Librarians: enchanted books instead of emeralds
Clerics: healing, or harming, poisons and potions instead of emeralds

Emerald-paying villagers normally contribute 4 emeralds per week. Higher-level workers provide more or better items.

Master librarians guarantee two high-level enchanted books every week.

Loyalty and Sleeping

For every 10 emeralds spent with an eligible villager, they return 1 bonus emerald in a later tribute payment. Selling items to villagers does not count.

Sleeping skips the night and activates faster morning collections. Villagers physically approach their assigned chest, and missed payments can be delivered later without creating duplicates.
