About this project

What does Odyssey Attributes add?

Screenshots on this page show Odyssey Attributes alongside the Obscure Tooltip mod, Advanced Netherite mod, and the Obscure Tooltip Rarity Font / Icons - Numerals resource packs. Though none of these are required to use this mod.

Odyssey Attributes

You know that feeling when you kill your 400th zombie for the day and it drops... another plain iron sword? Yeah. Not anymore.

Real stats, every time

Every weapon and armor piece you find now hits different. Kill something, open a chest, craft a sword. Doesn't matter. It comes out the other side with real stats stapled to it. Not a coin flip on whether it happens. It just happens, every time. The only thing left to chance is how good.

Power costs something

Four rarities. Common up through Epic. The higher you go, the more affixes get crammed onto the item. But here's the catch: you're trading enchant slots for it. Deck out an Epic sword with five affixes and you're only fitting three enchantments on it. Want Sharpness V, Unbreaking III, Mending, AND Fire Aspect? Cool. Go grab a Common. Power or flexibility. Pick one. Nobody gets to have both maxed out at the same time, and that's the whole point.

You'll always know exactly where you stand too. Every open enchant slot shows up right in the tooltip, so you can see at a glance how much room you've got left before you even open the enchanting table.

Built to look like it belongs

Odyssey Attributes is coded from the ground up to slot perfectly into Obscure Tooltip. Stats up front where you actually look, enchants tucked one middle click away (fully rebindable to whatever key you want) so you're not scrolling past a wall of text every time you check your sword.

Plays nice with other tooltip mods too. Advanced Netherite's own perks line? Shows up right where it should, no visual glitches, no fighting for space.

For testers and pack builders

Don't want to farm for an hour just to check how a epic boot looks? There's a built-in command for that:

/odyssey give [common|uncommon|rare|epic]

Rolls stats straight onto whatever's in your main hand. No loot table digging required.

No fluff, no filler items, no "maybe you get lucky." Just gear that actually matters.
