About this project

What does How Rotten! add?

How Rotten!

How Rotten! adds a new infection mechanic from zombie mobs to the game!

Features (All Configurable)

  • Zombies have a chance to infect players. Zombie mobs use the entity tag "how_rotten:zombies" so you can add compatibility with other mods. The chance to get infected by default is 40% but can be configured.

  • Infection Effect. Slows players and forces them to eat rotten flesh. (Other foods can be add through the how_rotten:zombie_food item tag) The infection can spread through entities and players that attack each other.

  • When an infected entity, including players, kills a villager it turns them into a zombie villager. Can be toggled in the config.

  • Antidotes can be brewed with a Golden Apple and a Weakness Potion. They can be made into splash potions and lingering potions to cure zombie villagers or infected mobs and players!

  • New weapon, baseball bats! Stronger than swords, but slower attack speed. Quicker than axes.

  • Base defense with barbed wire and wooden spikes.
