What does Chinese Weapons add?

Description

Chinese Weapons adds a variety of Chinese-style armors and weapons to the game, alongside an array of crafting materials and new ores. The mod’s content is listed below.

More Armors

Chinese Weapons introduces a total of 29 sets of Chinese-style armor. This includes 28 variants derived from different iron Chinese armor sets, each with golden, diamond, and netherite tiers, plus one set of Tang Dynasty Infantry Plate Armor. All of these armors can be crafted in survival mode using the armor casting table in mod. They can also be obtained by upgrading vanilla armors quickly via the Forging Stone.

More Weapons

Chinese Weapons adds three new weapons: the Dagger Axe, the Glaive, and the Sky Piercing Halberd. All of these weapons feature unique abilities. For instance, the Dagger Axe can pull mobs toward you and deal damage upon right-clicking. The Sky Piercing Halberd inflicts knockback and applies a debuff to mobs when used while sneaking. The Glaive unleashes continuous area-of-effect damage when right-clicking while sneaking. These weapons can also be crafted in Survival mode!

Chinese Weapons also adds a range of crafting materials to enhance the authenticity of forging weapons and armors. You may craft armors manually using armor plates at the armor forge table, or opt for a more convenient method: upgrading vanilla armors with the Forge Stone. Meanwhile, the mod introduces a new ore: Ancient Gem, which is used to craft special weapons.

Chinese Weapons supports JEI for viewing recipes of the mod's functional blocks, allowing you to quickly locate crafting recipes for armors and weapons. If you have Patchouli installed, a guide book containing all mod content will be provided.
