About this project
What does Peerless add?
Peerless
Peerless opens your singleplayer Minecraft world to friends. They join with a short 8-character room code over a direct peer-to-peer connection, so there is nothing to forward on the router and no dedicated server or VPN app (Hamachi, Radmin) to install.
Features
- Direct WebRTC connection between players.
- Automatic UPnP port mapping, so the router needs no manual configuration.
- Encrypted relay fallback: if a direct connection is not possible (mobile data, school Wi-Fi, strict or symmetric NAT), traffic goes through an encrypted WebSocket relay on port 443.
- Custom interface: a
[ Peerless ]button on the pause screen and a[ 🍐 Peerless ]button in the multiplayer menu, with its own room code input and connection status panel. - Three authentication modes for the host: Online (Microsoft account check), Offline (for offline or custom launchers), and Offline + UUID Fixer (same as Offline, but official UUIDs, inventories, advancements and permissions are preserved through Minecraft's profile cache).
- Up to 8 players in one world: one host and up to seven guests.
- Cross-loader play: Fabric, Forge and NeoForge players can share one world on the same Minecraft version.
- Windows, Linux and macOS: every JAR bundles WebRTC natives for Windows x64, Linux x64/ARM64/ARM32, and macOS Intel and Apple Silicon.
- Nothing is logged: signaling is anonymous and temporary. IP addresses, player names, UUIDs, room codes and world data are never collected or stored.

FAQ
Do all players need Peerless installed?
Yes. Guests also need the same gameplay, block and entity mods as the host.
Can I put Peerless in a modpack?
Yes, in any CurseForge, Modrinth or custom modpack. Everyone in the party should use the same modpack version.
Does it work with CGNAT, strict NAT or mobile data?
Yes. Peerless first tries a direct connection over WebRTC (with UPnP). When that fails, it switches to an encrypted relay on port 443, which works behind strict firewalls, school networks and symmetric NAT.
Does Peerless collect personal data?
No. Room codes expire when you leave the game. IP addresses, usernames, world files and coordinates are never collected or saved.
How do I see TPS and connection status?
Run /p2ptps in chat.
